The room was very clean, comfortable and gives an authentic Japanese experience. The extra I paid for the Ryokan dinner was also exceptionally delicious! The view of Lake Kawaguchiko was also very scenic and beautiful!

The yukata, hot water/tea in the room, and breakfast were all amazing. The ryokan was within walking distance of the station, and they also had a shuttle if needed. The baths were clean, hot, and relaxing. They had a great selection of amenities for the guests to use.
Upon checking into the ryokan, I felt a little disregarded as the staff wasn't speaking directly to me. Even though I was the one who booked the stay and had initiated the conversation. Minor inconsistency, but it did not affect the stay.

Spacious rooms with traditional Japanese Roykan Fitout - therefore minimal.
Good location on the lake and walkable distance to local restaurants, shops, ropeway, boat trips etc
Decent rates for rooms.
Readily available Parking across the road in Public car park
They have public baths on site though we didn’t try it.
Shower was a bit scatty.
Beds ( matress on floor in Roykan fashion) were not very comfortable. But there were additional mattresses available in the wardrobe if required.
