Convenient apartment in Central location.

There was no coffee machine, though coffee pods were provided. Room smells stuffy could do with some air freshners.

It’s in an excellent location on a little side street with good restaurants steps from the door. It’s a very short walk to the Clerigos Tower and the famed bookstore. A short walk also to the Palacio da Bolsa.

No bowls for cereal (such a minor complaint)

This gem is in a great little neighbourhood where locals and students carry on with their daily business, and tourists slip in and out of discreetly located properties such as this one. A short walk uphill and you are surrounded by historical monuments, eateries and green spaces. Head downhill and to the left and you have a wonderful strolling boulevard that leads to the Sao Bento Metro station, an important transportation hub. Every block contains a little restaurant, small market or bakery. For a change, there are pizza restaurants, curry shops and the amazing Mozambican restaurant just a few steps up the hill. The room was clean, well equipped and safe, with great wifi connection. Patricia was a fountain of information and gave us a great rundown on the sites, transportation and insider information. Her tips were a great contribution to our itinerary, and the map she provided with important information circled was well worn and much used by our departure. We highly recommend this property for anyone wishing to cover a great deal of territory on foot. We walked everywhere, used buses when needed and explored the neighbourhood thoroughly in our six night stay. The kitchenette was a great convenience and we stocked up with basics and treats to help buffer the costs of eating out.
