Open-Air Terrace Studio in Historic Heart of Porto

The apartment was a very short walk up from the train station. Since we arrived late, the clear self-entry instructions made check-in seamless. Fernando was a fantastic host incredibly responsive and had excellent recommendations. The space itself had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, the bedroom fan kept things perfectly cool, and the blackout blinds ensured a great night's sleep. Even the pull-out couch was comfortable! While we didn’t get a chance to use the private patio, it looked beautiful and with its rock walls, plants, and seating area. There is a small kitchen available, though we chose to eat out. The location is unbeatable. There is a bakery directly across the street, with several other shops and bakeries & restaurants just a few minutes walk away. It is also a short walk to the River and the iconic Dom Luís I Bridge, where you'll find rows of fantastic restaurants and shops on either side of the river. You absolutely do not need a car here because everything is within walking distance. We highly recommend Fernando’s place to other travellers and would definitely stay here again!

Die Wohnung ist sehr finster, obwohl es eine Terasse hat, da es ein Schlauch ist, und es riecht modrig und feucht.

Very good location, the owner Fernando was really helpful in the text messages. Nice bathroom. Tiny apartment, but for a city trip absolutely alright!

The apartment has an absolute potential, there’s just a few things that need to be improved. Even though the kitchen had cutlery and pots and stuff, there was no sharp knife or peeler, so we couldn’t use the ingredients we bought for dinner which was a shame. (couldn’t peel potatoes and chop vegetables). The shower head is probably to heavy for the construction in the shower, so you have to hold the shower head with your hands, which made it quite uncomfortable. If you are afraid of little insects and spiders, this apartment is probably not the best for you, as the door to the garden doesn’t have a fly-net, so there were about 10 little/medium sized spiders and a few mosquitoes inside. It didn’t bother us though.

Buena ubicación, es una planta baja, y es cómodo no tener que subir escaleras.

Me cobraron un extra por ir con una mascota. Cama muy basica, habia hormigas, todo es bastante austero, nevera limpia pero vieja, pocas comodidades.
