    Very good location. Beach front with excellent ocean view. Hotel is old with due for renovation, but it has large rooms. Staff are very friendly, good Onsen. A bit far from main Shimoda but peaceful.

    We had a wonderful stay at Shimoda Prince Hotel as a family with a young child. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the facilities were well maintained. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is beautiful, especially with the beach nearby, and we had a relaxing time. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would be happy to stay here again. Highly recommended!

    Very uncomfortable walking in the 32C temp hallways while I was there.

    The location is excellent, with the beach right in front of the hotel. The room we stayed in was a bit old and dusty, but still okay. The air conditioner didn’t cool the room very well, and there was no microwave anywhere in the hotel. Overall, though, it was a good stay. WIFI is a bit slow.
