Spectacular location

What a wonderful greeting from Nikos! Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is beautiful; beach across a quiet road, tavernas nearby. A clean apartment with good facilities and a stunning location.

Amazing!!!

One of the most beautiful and special places we have ever stayed!!! First of all, it is really beautiful, quite, romantic village just right on the beach! No noise no turistical chaos…The beach all for yourself- it was so wonderfull to see sunsets and sunrises in the silence. The appartment was super cozy, clean and comfortable! We could find anything we needed for our stay…Even the iron!!!and moka!!! Super cute garden…some restaurants around, one nice bar just two steps behind. Definately 10 points to everything, but mostly for the most nice family: Nikos, Maria and Stellos! Such a wonderful people! So much carrying, always waiting, always ready to help! Each day with some little surprises. We really felt like becoming a part of the family. You could find beautiful places to stay, but to find a place where after you feel as home is something special! Zefyros is definately magical place: beautiful from outside, inside and in the heart! Big big thanks to all! Hope to see you soon!

Great hospitality, good and kind communication with the owners, clean and fully equipped apartment, quiet and clean beach at 50m distance. Very good location for nearby trips (Chania, Heraklion, Falassarna beach, Elafonisi beach). Perfect accommodation for family of 4.

A beautiful place with cozy garden and barbecue in front of the sea.

The seafront position with beautiful view from the balcony. The barbecue at guests disposal has been a huge plus for us.

Our apartment was a little tight for four people. It was not a real problem we just had to adapt a little.

10 days in Drapanias

Stelios, Nikos and Maria are very nice people. Their kindness and goodness made our stay in Zefyros special. The atmosphere was really familiar and relaxing. Our apartment had seaview and every morning we use our beautiful balcony to have breakfast and this will remain in our thoughts for long time. Thank you

It was awesome 12 days!

Getting the keys was very easy - just arrive and the owner meets you to pass the keys. But not only the keys - also a lot of useful tips on what to see, where to eat, etc. We even got a very well prepared printed map highlighting key attractions - it was very helpful. I really appreciate the samples of home made wines and olive - they were delicious. There is one thing I'd like to mention - it is The Hosts. Honestly - I have never met such friendly, welcoming, helpful, smiling and positive people as the Family running this business (although I'm not that young and travel a lot). I really felt like being home. I'll be back!

Hosts were fantastic. Location was amazing, quiet and beautiful - 100m or so back from the beach, the other side of a cul de sac road that leads to a family taverna. The gardens at the venue are beautiful and I enjoyed the huge swallowtail butterflies visiting the flowers : ) Beach and swimming was fantastic, a few pebbles keep maybe some of the crowds away but it is sandy when you are in the water. Self-catering apts. Good evening meals also at the places nearby.

Amaing place to relax

Excellent location: quiet, close (30 m) to a nice beach, two tavernas nearby, several interesting day trips possible. Very nice, cozy apartments with balconies or tarrces and an amazing garden. A bakery and a minimarket in the village - 5 min by car. Great hosts - Nicos and Maria welcomed us with some rakia, sweets and house wine and olive oil.

Amazing accommodation right by the beach, private garden to relax, grills and beaches without people. If you want to experience the real Crete, we recommend it. A great host took care of us and recommended beautiful trips. There is an excellent tavern not far from the accommodation. We were very happy as a family, we will definitely come back 💕.

Fantastic holiday in an incredibly warm and friendly atmosphere.

Incredibly hospitable and friendly hosts, actively interested in the well-being and comfort of their guests. We were greeted with a family-like welcome on the first day, and the warm atmosphere lasted until our leave. Our apartment (for 4 people ) was clean, well-equipped (AC, oven, cooker, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, cuttlery and such) and generally very pleasant with a nice balcony facing the beach. There was room service such as cleaning the floor, changing the sheets and towels, which was completely unexpected for us at the price we had payed for a 10-day stay. The location is excellent, just 10m from a large and a quiet beach, guaranteeing peaceful relaxation. It is also a perfect spot to use as a base for sightseeing the whole western part of Crete. Zephyros is located next to a main road, which is far enough that you don't even notice it is there, but also close enough that whenever you feel like going shopping or on a trip, you will be able to get to your destination quickly. (Kissamos ~8min, Chania ~30min, Balos beach ~1h). If you don't feel like leaving Drapanias beach, there are a few taverns nearby you can just walk to and have a nice meal as well We strongly recommend Zephyros Apartments to anyone searching for a peaceful place on Crete where they can relax, but also conveniently enjoy all the tourist attractions in the west of the island.

Exceptional

The two bedroom apartment was brand new. Super decorated. The owner took care of the smallest detail. If I had an additional wish, he would fulfill it immediately. He supplied us with wine and high-quality olive oil from the local factory. He was a wonderful and loving host. You can feel very comfortable there. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place and the nearby tavernas are an additional advantage if you do not want to prepare your own meals.

The host makes the stay wonderful. And gives you GREAT recommendations. He gave us (as a present) olive oil to use and also to carry on the plane (100ml). Also a wine he makes and they share a cake with us :). When we were leaving he even clean our car.

Perfect stay by the sea

The house was amazing with everything you could ask for . Very spacious and clean. The location was very nice just three steps from the Sandy beach where you could also enjoy a very nice sunset. We also enjoyed barbecue in the garden were you could find two wooden tables and have nice time with your family .Mr. Nikos the owner treated as with Cretan olive oil and wine! A stay to remember ! Thank you Mr. Nikos and Mrs. Maria !

Friendly hosts, Nikos and Maria welcome you with smile and local products, share info about local attractions. Our small apartment was very clean, equipped with all the things you need to have. With a great view directly to the see. Beach is just on the opposite side of the street. This is perfect location to rest away from the crowds.

Studio needs update,tiny shower.balcony with bird droppings and rusty fittings, absence of hosts and especially ,very small room advertised as 23 square meters but ,in fact, carefully measured, had an area of 16.5 square meters. Had we known this we would not have booked.

Very friendly owner, nice garden, quiet location, oceanfront. Aircon works good.

The room is basic but works fine. There could be done some refurbishment, especially for the kitchen & bathroom. It is not really possible to cook because there is only 1 hot plate (works fine for making eggs for brekki though). Fridge with freezer is great. New shower curtain needed and new toilet seat. Beds are quite hard, same for pillows.

Struttura incantevole a pochi passi dal mare, ben collegata alle strada principale che porta alle spiagge e località più rinomate. La nostra camera era dotata di balcone vista mare, attrezzato con sedie e tavolini per colazioni e cene indimenticabili. Parcheggio comodo in struttura e giardino curato nei minimi dettagli. Host sempre disponibile e mai invadente, ci ha aiutato ad organizzare la nostra settimana a Creta.

Sentirsi a casa lontano da casa

I proprietari sono stati estremamente gentili e disponibili, ti senti a casa con Stelios and father. Il nostro volo arrivava a Chania alle 23.50 e Stelios ci ha atteso per il check-in fino al nostro arrivo alle 1:20. Se cercate un posticino tranquillo, lontano dalla confusione e comunque a due passi da Balos e Falasarna, questa è la scelta perfetta. Fra l'altro prestano molta attenzione anche al giardino esterno che circonda le due costruzioni dove ci sono i 4 dei 5 appartamenti che mettono a disposizione. Zefyros, se torniamo per la terza volta nella stessa parte di Creta, torneremo a farvi visita!!!

Unica pecca, manca il bidet, ma fuori dall'Italia si sa che è quasi un miracolo...e comunque, signori, un pochino tocca pure adattarsi 😁
