Our Villa Liakada is located directly at the sea, in the bay of Kissamos.
Villa Liakada was build 4 years ago and has two floors: In the upper floor are two bedrooms, one double bedroom and one room with two single beds and also one bathroom with shower. In the ground floor you can find an open arrangement of kitchen and living room with everything you may need and another double bedroom plus another bathroom. In front of the house is a big garden area for playing, barbecue and relaxing. The Beach is directly in front of the house.
Liakada has wireless internet access and Sat TV.
At your arrival you will find as a present of us some tasty food and fruits for a nice breakfast and some homemade oliveoil, Tsikoudia (Raki) and wine.

Wow! Not enough characters to described this amazing property! Eleni the host was the best! Check in was super easy, she left us some olive oil, raki, and essentials to get us going for the first night until we could go to market. The house is amazing, even better than the pictures. Don’t be mislead by some Google pictures that someone posted that are not from the property. This house was amazing, the location is perfect for visiting Balos, Elafonisi, Falasarna. 1000% recommended, I think we will go to Crete next year for the third time and for sure we will be booking with Eleni! Beautiful property. We were a party of 6, 4 adults and 2 teenage kids 17&13. We were very comfortable in the property.

What a fabulous villa and Eleni especially was the perfect host. The Villa was well equipped, super clean and we felt very comfortable. We had a very minor plumbing issue during the stay, Eleni responded to this in 10 mins and all was fixed - great service from a host. Taverna at camping site just 5 mins from the villa excellent as well, we will be back Thank you Eleni for our lovely gifts at the end of our stay, those little touches are very much appreciated and add to the memories.

We had a wonderful week at Villa Eleni. As everyone else has said Eleni was very helpful and friendly. The villa was great with one bedroom with en suite downstairs for anyone unable to manage stairs. We were a family group ranging from 9 to 81 in age and it worked for all of us. The boys enjoyed the pool if it was too windy for the sea, which is so close and very warm. We were all sorry to leave after our week’s stay. The sea is so close and so warm! I stayed with my husband, mother and two teens for 10 days. On arrival we had a lovely welcome package of essential. We had a lovely welcome from Eleni and she was on hand for any questions. The villa is beautiful, tastefully decorated, the swimming pool was clean and great fun for the kids. The beach is lovely and quiet, see through waters that ranged between 27 and 29 degrees. I highly recommend that you visit and I will be sure to come back!

We were looking for a villa in a quiet location for a week of complete relaxation. We got exactly that. Most of the time the only noise you will hear are the waves and the cicadas. Eleni was an excellent communicator and responded quickly to any queries. She also left a lovely assortment of food so we didn’t have to go searching for breakfast material after our day of travel. We ate at the camp site taverna which was good but our favourite two restaurants were a 10 min walk along the beach at Norpigia - Porfina and Taverna Sargos - both were excellent. We have a great week.

We have just returned from a wonderful two week stay in Villa Liakada, Drapanias, a sleepy resort ideal for relaxing. Eleni and her husband were perfect hosts and provided a welcome pack on arrival which was much appreciated and also gave us gifts when we left. Eleni kindly picked us up and returned us to the pick up points for the coach travel back to the airport.The villa is beautifully presented and is perfectly located with the sea just 30 feet or so away. The pool area is superb and very relaxing. There are 3 tavernas within walking distance and also a small mini market. Kissamos is a charming little town with lovely restaurants on the sea front and is approx 5 kms away and easily reached by taxi for 10 Euros. We would certainly recommend a stay in Villa Liakada.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The view from the balcony was stunning and we were made to feel very welcome with gifts of olive oil and wine and enough food for breakfast the day after we arrived. Lovely, clean, well equipped villa with a beautiful pool in a quiet location. As described, the villa is about 30 yards away from the sea which can be heard from the garden. Eleni is a kind and thoughtful host - we arrived to a kitchen stocked with all the basics and more - bread, butter, milk, coffee, juice, biscuits, salt, etc., and homemade cake, olive oil, wine and raki. She brought toys for our two boys (aged 4 and 5) to play with, offered advice about places to visit and called daily to check that everything was okay. There are three tavernas and the campsite shop within walking distance and Kissamos is about a five minute drive away with supermarkets, shops and restaurants. The sea at the local beach was a little too wavey for our small boys most days due to the lovely strong breeze, but Falasarna beach which was more sheltered is only a 25 minute drive away. We had a brilliant holiday (2 weeks in August) rounded off by Eleni sending us off with farewell gifts including two mugs for the boys having given us an extra hour to check out.

The Villa was spacious and clean. Kitchen well equipped. Comfortable bed.. Lovely pool and out door area. Rural location although by the sea. Owner very attentive. We went slightly out of season, 7-21st April 2019, so local amenities as in the few bars and the shop in the camp site weren't open although lots of preparation was going on. A taxi to the nearest town, Kissamos was only 8 euros. We also went for the walking and the location was perfect.

We had a really nice stay at Villa Liakada. The owner, Eleni, was very nice and helpful. Our fridge was already full of nice and fresh food upon on arrival. She stop by every day to make sure everything was ok and we didn't need anything else. We enjoyed so much the pool, the dinner table outside, the beach nearby, the sound of the waves, the fact that this place is quiet and outside the tourist area. The rooms are spacious and confortables. It's a nice place to stay if you want to discover the west coast of Crete and have your own pool! Thanks Eleni for a wonderful stay and a lot of memories for our family!

We spent two wonderful weeks in Villa Liakada. The house was just perfect in a quiet and peaceful environment. This is what we were looking for and we really “recharged our batteries”. No car needed to join the nearby blue and warm sea, it is just in front of the house and having breakfast with the music of the waves was just a must. Cherry on the cake: Eleni is the perfect hostess. She was very attentive and offered us home-made cake, olive oil, raki and everything in the fridge to start our stay. Eυχαριστώ πολύ

We stayed at this great and cosy house for 13 days. It is located just 30 metes from the beach and you can hear the waves :-) The house was spaceous enough for my family of 5 (three kids). Eleni showed great service when we arrived and during our stay, we even got help with a little car problem :-). When we arrived some food was stocked in the refrigerator and a delicious cake that we really loved. We definitely recommend this rental.

A wonderful location and just a few steps away from the beach for your morning swim with the taverna just along the road for drinks and evening meal. If you looking for peace and quiet, this is the ideal spot. Liakada was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well maintained. It was lovely to sit outside on the patio, looking at the sea having breakfast, lunch or evening meal and hearing the waves lap up onto the beach. The owner, Eleni, made us feel very welcome with her homemade cake, olive oil, home made wine, raki, fruit, milk, etc. on our arrival. She would pop by everyday to make sure we had everything we needed and was very helpful in informing us of places to visit. A wonderful lady. Would recommend hiring a car (easy access to main road) to take yourselves off to explore this island as there are some lovely beaches dotted around where you can just sit and watch the sun go down. Kissamos is about a 10/15 minute drive where you will find many good restaurants and cafes.

Very clean spacious house with ocean view, nice terrace & beautiful garden. There's a gravel beach with clear water. We've been alone there most of the time. Eleni is a very friendly hostess, really caring about her guests. The area around is very quiet. For grocery shopping and trips a car is recommendable, even though there's a bus from both airports to Drapanias and there are busses to Kissamos and Chania.

House Liakarda is the ideal place for a relaxed holiday. Eleni, our host, made us feel very welcome with enough food in the kitchen to get us started. Among that, fresh eggs from her farm and even a homemade cake! The house is big enough for a big family and is also suited for three grown up couples. The house is absolutely spotlessly clean and the garden is well maintained. There is everything you need in the house. A very well equipped kitchen, so you can cook proper meals. There is a view to the sea, which is just 1 minute away. The area is peaceful and quiet and a bit “rough”, but it is not deserted, there is a good taverna 10 minutes away and a few more within walking distance, all serving lovely food. Eleni and her husband are very good hosts. They are very helpful and they do everything they can to make sure you have a lovely holiday. In our case, they even helped us find another good place to stay, when we ran into difficulties with a house we had rented the following week. This is far beyond what anyone could expect! Thank you again!! We definitely want to come back another time, either in House Liakarda or if we come alone, in one of the “Beautiful Eleni” houses, also owned by Eleni. We will recommend the house to anyone who likes to experience the “original Greece”, enjoying all the modern conveniences at the same time!

Everything about the House Liakada was excellent! Spotlessly clean and very well maintained, we had everything we needed from kitchenware to towels and bedlinen to Wi-fi. Adequately slept 6 of us in comfortable beds. Eleni was the perfect hostess and even picked us up from the bus stop in Kastelli. [We took the bus from Chania to Kastelli] We were greeted with Eleni's homemade cake, olive oil and wine from their farm and Raki, the local brew (!!!). The sea is 100ft from the house which means having a morning swim before breakfast is the best way to start the day! A few leisurely minutes' walk brings you to the local taverna where we were greeted like long lost friends and spent many a night enjoying the excellent food and company. The town of Kastelli is 5 minutes away; we didn't have a car but on our first day hooked up with a taxi-driver who would come and get us at a moment's notice. You could even walk along the coast to the town if you felt so inclined (about 45+ minutes depending on your pace). If we weren't at the taverna or the town of Kastelli then we spent evenings on the veranda or sitting on the beach. This is the ideal location for those who don't want to be knee-deep in noisy tourist resorts but still be amongst friendly people. Great for families or a bunch of friends. Also an excellent base for those wishing to do some touring around the area and for those who like hiking. Eleni and Takis made us feel very welcome and I would definitely recommend the House Liakada to anyone who wants to relax by the sea and enjoy true Cretan hospitality.

The house is just a few steps from the beach and is in very good condition. The owner, Eleni, welcomed us warmly and examined our well-being every day. The small town center of Kissamos , the old town of Chania or the beach of Elafonisi are defenitely worth a trip. Otherwise you can enjoy the quiet country life and the visits of the cute little dog or the one-eyed cat from the neighbors; both very nice animals. Eleni spoiled us with Greek delicacies as a welcome and with olive oil and raki to say goodbye. The mattresses take getting used to (they are a bit hard), but not a problem. Neues Haus, sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Frühstück für den ersten Morgen vorhanden! Ebenso Olivenöl, Essig, Raki,... Ideal für 2 befreundete Paare, im Erdgeschoß Wohnküche und dahinter Doppelzimmer mit Bad. 1. Stock über eine (enge) Wendeltreppe erreichbar, ein Doppelzimmer, ein Zweibettzimmer und ein separates Bad. Zum Meer 20 Meter, schmaler Sandstrand mit Steinen durchwachsen. Liegen und Betten vorhanden; allerdings war es bei uns sehr windig, sodass wir lieber am Pool blieben (oder Ausflüge machten, Auto unbedingt notwendig) Eleni, die Gastgeberin, schaut fast jeden Tag vorbei; zum Abschluss erhielten jedes Paar auch noch eine Flasche Raki und Öl. Uns hat die Woche hier sehr gut gefallen!!

Sehr tolle Unterkunft direkt in ruhiger Strandnähe. Modernes Haus sehr gut ausgestattet und gemütlicher Garten mit Hängematte und gepflegten Pool. Straße zwischen Haus und Strand kaum befahren. Liegestühle mit Schirm am Strand. Hervorragende Kommunikation mit der Vermietern. 1A Service vor Ort und die beste Vermieterin die ich jemals erlebt habe mit Gastgeschenken und und Snacks im und vor dem Kühlschrank ;-) Leider kann ich NUR 5 Sterne vergeben... Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder

It started with a very warm welcome and a yummie cake. Eleni really took care of everything and we felt welcome every single minute. The house was really nice and bad everything we needed.
