About this villa rental
Villa Alexandra is the perfect place to stay for relaxing and exploring the western part of Crete. The famous beaches of Falasarna, Balos and Elafonisi are within easy reach and the area is surrounded by beautiful scenery with the city of Chania less than a 30 min drive away.
Villa Alexandra has 3 double bedrooms (one with en-suite) with a spacious open-plan living/dining/kitchen area and additional bathroom. The property has air-conditioning in every room, WiFi, satellite TV, washing machine and fully equipped kitchen. Externally, there is a large balcony to the rear of the property with ample space to dine outdoors or relax and enjoy the view. It is also the perfect location to take advantage of the clear Cretan night skies and enjoy some stargazing with the property's telescope. The front of the property has private parking for two cars and a garden with sunloungers and a traditional well.
Situated between the large villages of Kolymbari and Kissamos, Villa Alexandra is only a short drive away from all amenities including a supermarket, restaurants, beach bars and shops.

We had a wonderful time in Crete and we were very happy with the place we chose!
Great mountain view, welcoming host, tasty food. Car is a must to be able to explore all the beautiful beaches, caves, mountains,surrounding towns.

The house was perfect - different terraces and garden to be in or out of the sun as you wish.The owners' parents live below and couldn't have been kinder. Welcome cake, raki, biscuits and traditional spinach pies as well as produce from their garden with an open invitation to 'help ourselves'. Any slight problem which occurred was dealt with straight away and communication via Niki in the UK (we don't speak Greek sadly) worked well. There is a fairly busy road nearby which slightly spoilt the peace but it didn't affect our overall enjoyment of our trip and our visit to this holiday rental.

Beautiful spacious house which is very well maintained. Alexandra and Mihailis, the owners made us feel very welcome (cake, grapes, coffee...), with them you have the impression that you have come on vacation in the house of yours old friends. We highly recomnend this house.

Sehr netter Empfang, sehr gastfreundliche Familie. Alexandra und Mixalis wohnen parterre im selben Haus.
Offensichtlich Straßenlage an der National Road, günstig zum Wegkommen, aber Straßenlärm bei offenen Fenstern und auf dem Balkon. Schöner Südostblick auf die Lefka Ori.
Sehr großzügige und schicke Wohnung wie auf den Bildern. Zu beachten ist, daß die Eigentümer zwischenzeitlich auf ihrer Terrasse einen Grillbereich eingerichtet haben, hierdurch ggf. Rauchbelästigung möglich.
Während unseren Aufenthaltes sind leider Mängel in den Bädern ersichtlich gewesen, die die Vermieter umgehend nach unserem Aufenthalt beseitigen wollen: tropfende Hähne und Ventile am Waschbecken mit kleinerer Überschwemmung nach jeder Benutzung, unpraktisch.
Sauberkeit in der Küche mangelhaft (Lebensmittelrückstände in Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle, Krümel in den Schubladen, alter benutzter Kaffeefilter in der Kaffeemaschine). Bäder und Zimmer waren in Ordnung.
Kommunikation läuft hauptsächlich und problemlos über den Sohn (per WhatsApp).
Insgesamt angenehm und nett, aber anders als erwartet.
