Fabulous communication/ service from Nina the hostess.

Better insulation from the apartment above us. You could hear heavy walking noise, water noise etc. Hot water ran out in our apartment all the time. We had many cold showers, maybe there is only one hot water cylinder for the whole building? Apart from those 2 things, everything was perfect. 🥰

Location in Old Town, close to restaurants and cafes. Good beaches for swimming, ice cream shops. Handy kitchenette. Free parking not far away and could catch free shuttle to car.

Korcula apartment review

There was a cute balcony above the attached restaurant that played soft live romantic music each night. We would take our bottle of wine and glasses from the apartment and sit, talk and watch people as we listed to music.

Lovely airy, spacious apartment in a great location very close to the waterfront. Large windows open up for fresh air. One of the many restaurants in Korkula is right outside the door, but the small kitchen is well-equipped with everything you might need to prepare your own meals. We were in the bottom apartment which was great as we have bikes, however there is a bit of noise from people above clomping about. NB re a previous comment - the bells did NOT ring all night! Maybe that was Easter ...

Lovely apartment in the middle of Korcula Old Town, has all the facilities you need. Perfect walking distance from supermarkets, restaurants (one on doorstep), Ferry Terminal and local 'beach'. Very friendly welcome and helpful hosts.

Fantastic location

It was helpful being met by Philip at the port- thankyou. We loved being right in the centre of the town. We loved the balcony overlooking the neighbours garden. We loved Korcula.

We would have liked a couch or comfortable chairs to sit on in the evening.

Spacious and comfortable in a lovely setting

The apartment is very nice, and spacious with a sweet little terrace. Really comfortable bed, nice touches throughout including the great homemade liquors. Note that the listing says there is a washing machine, but it is downstairs and used by housekeeping staff. You just need to ask and you will be allowed to use it - I was grateful! Location in the old town cannot be beat, I did not hear the church bells too much, definitely not as loud as some other cities I have been to! Being in the old town means a lot of steps - arriving with luggage can be painful. I was met at the catamaran but carried my own luggage up all those steps and through crowded streets and it was not easy (the owner was at the flat and helped me get everything inside the apartment.) My recommendation to future travelers - if you are met but carry your own luggage, ask the greeter to please bring you via the street with hardly any stairs, where all the restaurants are, not through the direct center of town. It will be much easier believe. me. Of course, I could just try to pack lighter :)

I was in the middle floor and there is a lot of noise, mostly from the people upstairs (not the outside.) The hardwood floors are great but if you have people upstairs who do not care about your sleep, you will suffer. It honestly sounded like they were jumping up and down sometimes. They turned on loud music at 2:30 am and the next night 5:00 am, I guess to cover up their nocturnal noises which could be heard anyway by the whole neighborhood, not just me... perhaps a sign in each unit to please be quiet during sleeping hours would make people a bit more conscious. I tried to tread lightly for the people downstairs, but light sleepers might be best in the top floor apartment.
