Casa dell'Angelo

This charming apartment is well located near the banks of the Tiber river near the Castel Sant'Angelo and the Vatican. The location was excellent for us as it was within easy walking distance of most of the older Roman city centre. The apartment is accessed by 3 flights of stairs (no elevator) but the host arranged a bellboy for us, which was very handy. The apartment has old world charm with modern conveniences. The bathroom is very modern and the shower was great. The kitchen is a lovely combination of old world charm and modern appliances. It was fully stocked for guests and the host left us some complimentary refreshments and sweeties, which was a lovely touch. There is a lovely leafy terrace off the kitchen which we were unable to use due to the extreme heat while we were there. The apartment itself was a real find and we enjoyed staying there. Our host was very communicative, very responsive and very accommodating. She could not have been easier to deal with. I would definitely recommended this property and would stay there again when next in Rome.

Mattress on bed was a little hard for my tastes.

Great property - very convenient location, charming furnishings, responsive host. Huge and very comfortable apartment. It felt like a home away from home.

55 steps up, but Federica even helped us with the baggage and also arranged professional and cost effective transportation from the airport.

Location was the most important part of our trip and we were not disappointed . Our host Federica could not have been more accommodating and thoughtful. The property has everything you need to enjoy a home from home in the Center of Rome
