A unique room just off the main street

This is a hard one, my wife liked it a lot more than I did. It's not that I didn't like it, it's just that she really liked the uniqueness of the room. The lady who ran the place was very friendly and helpful and provided a really good breakfast. She also provided a voucher for the car, allowing us to park free overnight in the street, not too far away.

I found the room a bit cluttered, though that's part of what my wife liked. The bed had a really solid wood base, as I discovered going to the toilet during the night. There was nothing wrong with the room, it's just a matter of individual taste.

Very Attentive and wonderful hostess!

The host served a wonderful breakfast. Even made fresh juice. Host didn’t speak English and we didn’t speak French, but found a way to communicate. We found free street parking about a block away from the residence. The apartment had true old world charm but with some modern amenities. We enjoyed our stay.

A beautiful, well decorated, and comfortable jem in the heart of Pontarlier.

It is a very comfortable and well decorated B&B. The host was welcoming and helpful. We entered a relaxing haven. It is the most luxurious ensuite room I have stayed at with a delicious homemade breakfast as well.

A lovely 1-night's stay in an utterly beautiful chambres d'hotes

Everything. The rooms were stunning, spacious and beautifully designed and decorated - there was a lovely energy to whole place that made you feel relaxed and at home. Arielle is a wonderful host and it was such a pleasure to meet and to talk with her. Breakfast was superb. We will definitely return if we find ourselves in this part of France again.

Our host, Arlene, was friendly, and helpful (she made us a dinner reservation.)

Very healthy breakfast, with fresh-squeezed fruit juice and homemade apple compote, to name two items. Having Arlette there to talk to us about the area was also extremely helpful.

No complaints whatsoever about the property, which was incredibly unique. Our only piece of advice would be to suggest alerting visitors to the parking possibilities nearby at the train station, as there is no parking on the street.

Our host, Arlette, was amazing. She couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was all home produced and wonderful. Great location in the town centre and the property was so characterful. Would definitely recommend and visit again. A great stay all round!

Fantastic breakfast, lovely host.

Wonderful breakfast with organic bread, homemade jam, fruit custard. the host is reall friendly and helpful. the apartment is right in the centre of the town. The room and apartment is nicely decorated in a very nice modern style with antiques and curios.

Unfortunately our room is above the street and it was hot ao we had to have windows open so it was noisy from the cars. It was fine with windows closed when not hot or ask for the other on the courtyard side if you like quiet.

Beautiful rooms in Comté country!

Beautiful room and breakfast space. So many lovely unique touches and characterful decoration. The host was very welcoming (despite our limited french!) And the parking in the garage on the same street was perfect. The perfect base if you are planning a visit to the Comté caves!

Perfect voor een kort verblijf in het centrum van Pontarlier

Prachtig oud pand met verrassende entree. Leuke kamer met prima faciliteiten. Fantastisch vegetarisch ontbijt door de zeer vriendelijke eigenaresse.

B&B is gesitueerd in een doorlopende straat, waarin niet geparkeerd kan worden. Parkeerplaats op enkele minuten lopen nabij het station, maar prima te doen.

Die außergewöhnliche Einrichtung. Alles sehr liebevoll zusammengestellt. Einfach die Bilder ansehen 😁 Super leckeres Frühstück. Es fehlte uns nichts.

Heerlijk rustig en sfeervol.

Inchecken kan pas vanaf 18.00 en dat is wel iets om rekening te mee te houden. Maar dat maakt niks uit! Je wordt uiterst vriendelijk ontvangen, de kamer is groot, prachtig en zeer sfeervol en het ontbijt is geweldig. Alles door de zeer vriendelijke eigenaresse zelf gemaakt.

Een parkeerplaats moet je echt zoeken. Het is een klein, druk stadje en de meeste parkeerplaatsen waren vol.

Ein rundum gelungenes Erlebnis von einer tollen Gastgeberin

Die geschmackvoll gestalteten Zimmer (jedes mit Bad) befinden sich in einer Altbauwohnung, die man mit der Gastgeberin teilt. Parken in der Nähe kein Problem. Das beste Frühstück seit vielen Jahren. Bis auf Wurst/Käse alles selbstgemacht (Granola, verschiedene Konfitüren,) dazu noch ein Smoothie, eine pochierte Birne für jeden und als Höhepunkt eine Rhabarber Tarte. So startet man gern in den Tag!
