初めて泊まったのですが、蔵書も温泉もお部屋も素晴らしかったです。なかなかお目にかかれない哲学書や雑誌があって、一生ここで過ごしたくなりました。本を読み、川の音を聴きながら温泉に浸かり、美味しい地元のお料理を堪能し、また本を読む。最高に幸せな時間でした。ラウンジやお部屋の調度品もとても素敵で、大正時代にタイムスリップしたようなロマンが味わえました。定期的に泊まりたい宿です。

the hotel is just beautiful and the staff are amazing and willing to help for anything i needed. know that if you want to travel a bit around you will need a car. ive walked to the forest and river near by, but couldn't get further than that without a car. the meals are really high end chef's made. note that its very traditional Japanese kitchen, so some of the food was challenging for my western taste.
I think providing more shuttles to the nearest train station or city to allow people to travel without a car

I’ve lived in Japan for 4 years and this was the nicest hotel and onsen I’ve ever been in. And they now allow tattoos, which was great for my brothers and I. The dinner was incredible; some of the best shinshu beef of my life. The lounge, our room, and all the facilities are gorgeous. Staff were also excellent.
This place is as close to perfect as possible, based on our experience.

伝統はあると思います。 部屋の露天風呂はとても良かった。
部屋のトイレの換気扇が埃だらけだった。 食事は個室だが隣の話し声が丸聞こえでうるさいので落ち着けず 岩盤浴や露天風呂は女性用は 充実しているが男性用と差がある
