The location was very good for us, two steps from the giardini biennale entrance. The bed was confortable, check in was easy, the host very helpfull.

In a quiet part of Venice, away from all the crowds but close to vaporettos to everything you want to see and do. Very helpful host. A very comfortable bed!
The room is small but well equipped

I can just recommend this apartment - and I will gladly do so with friends and family. The room was clean and the landlord very helpful and friendly (restaurant recommendations and nice explanations about the apartment and stuff) This room is located in a very quite and nice neighborhood which is extraordinary in Venice. You can easily walk along the promenade into the city centre (about 30minutes slow walking) along many restaurants and cafés or take a water bus - two stations are located 5minutes by foot from the apartment (no worries about time tables as any boat goes basically to wherever you want about every 15min). (When you come from the airport via water bus 'Alilaguna' then you have to walk 20min - and no worries you'll find the house; if not by address than with google maps and the coordinates - it's a red house on a corner) The shower had always and easily available hot water and the heaters in the rooms were working nicely (which is not normal for Italian standards as they normally prepare only for hot weather). Extra blankets were also available if you were cold. There is a ceiling fan which I can imagine is nice in summer as well - the windows are new and have mosquito nets on it. A hairdryer was available and the sockets work with normal European cables (plug type C). We got enough towels for two people (one big towel, a hand towel and a face towel) and as mentioned above the shower is working nicely and 'normal' (and is quite big for Italian standards). There is even a bidet if you like that.... for me is was just cramming the bathroom a bit - but yeah. Yes - the apartment is not the newest or the biggest but the location, the comfort and the prize is more than reasonable. You sleep there and will go for food and drinks to one of the many cafés and restaurants inside the touristic city center and that's it. Enjoy your stay and be glad to have found something clean, reasonably prized and in this very ideal location!
When we were there the WIFI didn't work properly - but that is something that the landlord told us he is fixing right now. It was enough to check emails and whatsapp and everything so basically that is enough for the purpose of a city trip - you want to explore Venice and not watch Netflix 3 days... and everybody got enough mobile data anyway so yes. There is no proper kitchen (like you can make coffee and tea - hot water - and you have a big fridge for drinks but real cooking is not really intended) - but be honest; you're on holiday in Italy, go to a nice Italian restaurant, that's why you're there (everybody will find something and also if you have allergies - this big touristic city offers something for everybody). As is normal with every room, hotel, apartment I have ever been, there are not enough hooks on the walls to hang all your jackets, bags, clothes, bathing stuff, towels (though for towels there is enough space and in the shower you have enough space to place your stuff inside a storage basket) and whatever you don't want to place on the floor - but there is a small closet where you can put stuff and as you are in Venice only for a short time this is completely sufficient. So actually I liked everything and you can do with everything for this short time.
