Really helpful and friendly owner / host. The hostel had a nice social vibe to it, but was still quiet in / around the rooms.
The wifi on the top floor was intermittent and slow, but worked fine, even for streaming, on the ground level in the common areas.

Great location, super nice staff, and very nice room (I had a private room). Good and sociable vibe and activities.
Nothing - I loved my stay here. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

Super clean, great location, comfy beds (especially the pillows!) and the BEST staff/ ownership. Natasha, Vlad, and Alex all so kind and go above and beyond with everything. So much local knowledge too.
Honestly nothing, this is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in.

One of my favourite hostels. Natasha, who runs the hostel is so warm, intelligent, helpful and a gorgeous person. She also provides excellent coffee. The hostel is so clean and comfortable with air con, bunks with their own curtain, charger and light. Well located, an easy walk to everything. A special place to socialise in the evening.
Everything was so memorable and perfect

The most lovely place and staff 🥰
They don’t have fiber yet and WiFi will be an issue for remote workers.

Well set out and well organised. The owner even gave a 5 minute briefing with map on what there was to do and see and how much things should cost.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. Thoroughly deserves its high ratings. Natasha and the team are fantastic, really fun and easy hosts to engage with. The hostel is gorgeous, with stunning views of the lake. The beds were very comfortable and the privacy curtains were almost black out. Natasha takes the time to go through the town map with you and all of he recommendations were fabulous. They have a lovely common area/ kitchen too. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

Very modern, so close to Çarşı, employees and guests are so friendly. You have curtains all around beds so privacy is very good. Comfortable bed, kitchen has everything you need. Cosy and perfect, it seems like they already thought what you would need before you stay.
Tourists are not here in June, so if you like crowded places and enjoy meeting so many people during your holiday, you can come over in July or August I think.
And if you are travel alone, just be careful a bit while it's late time like after 10:00-11:00 pm

Our favorite hostel in the 9 months we have been travelling! The best part is the amazing owner Natasha and all of the pleasant, helpful, kind staff (especially Micky)! The entire building is nicely renovated and stays nice and cool which is important during summer months! All the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Nice bathrooms and good kitchen. The location can't be beat! The hostel plans daily activities which is great for connecting with other travellers. Finally, they make proper coffee and it is delicious!! Would love to return one day.
There isn't a hook to hang the shower head, which makes showering trickier and less enjoyable. Also would be great if they had a toaster as ourselves and several others were looking to make toast (cheap and easy!) in the mornings.

Staff very helpful, cool common spaces.
Location was very good.Aor con in rooms
Bed a bit noisy which huge gaps at side and not great bed shelf and fixtures, mine were coming out the wall. Privacy curtain about 3 inches short on my bed so kinda pointless. Bathroom was not good. Floor always wet, combined toilet and shower so wet shoe prints everywhere. Also no air flow so got very hot. Locker under bed didn't align so really hard to get lock on it and super noisy.

From the moment I arrived, the friendly and welcoming staff made me feel right at home. They answered all my questions and gave awesome recommendations. The hostel's central location in the heart of the charming old town was perfect for exploring the city. The clean and comfortable rooms, along with the excellent facilities, ensured a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend Old Town Hostel to anyone seeking an unforgettable experience in Ohrid!

I'd recommend a bracket to hold the shower head to make showering easier.

Natasha has been a fantastic host!! she knows how to make you feel at home! the hostel is confortable and very nicely decorated and you will definitely meet other great people travelling around!

The hostel offers great value for the money, and Natasha the host, is incredibly friendly and always ready to help with anything you might need. While we didn't spend much time in the common area due to our plans around town, it's a great space where you can meet people from all over the world and make new friends.
While there is noise disturbance due to weak sound isolation, it is not unexpected as it's a hostel.
Overall we had a pleasant stay.

location was perfect and stuff were very friendly, it was very clean, room was big, nice view from the balcony and good price
It was cold at night and I didn’t understood if it is common area with tea or coffee

The location is amazing, literally on top of the Old Town centre....
The rooms are tidy and comfortable. The beds are nicely curtained, and each bed has a working light and plug.
The views from the room are stunning.
Shower and toilet was just outside the room and kept clean. Water flow was strong and hot, and there was plenty of hanging space, as well as a sink.
Wi-Fi was great.
Plenty of common areas, including indoors and outdoors.
There is a small basic communal kitchen.
Staff are really helpful.
Can't think of any, tbf
