Apartment Clos du Savoy-8 by Interhome

Terrific location. Short walk to Savoy ski lift and to downtown Chamonix. Spacious living room with modern furniture / appliances. Dishwasher and washer were great. Has a locked ski locker which is a nice plus. Apartement was very quiet. Would recommend to rent directly and avoid renting thru Interhome.

Despite what is listed on the booking.com app - INTERNET IS NOT FREE. Also a shame and an inconvenience to have to pay extra and have to pick up ill-fitted linens and towels. Experience with Interhome intermediary agency was bad. Picking up keys and linens when you don't have a car is a pain. Their office is small and you have to wait outside when there is a queue. Internet was atrocious - less than 0.5MB/s download/upload speeds. Made it impossible to stream. I reached out to them for help and left a voicemail - no response. Disapointing to have to pay for something that did not work - Interhome refused to reimburse. Shower flooded day one as drain had not been cleaned properly (I shared pics with Interhome). As far as the apartment itself goes - it was great. Would recommend adding a microwave. Also FYI there is 1 pan and 1 casserole that does not work on the induction stove. So overall - would rent again if I did not have to do so thru Interhome and if they provided Internet fiber like other apartments in the area.

Came to the apartment and found that the kitchen utensils are dusty. Also, we needed to pay for €20 per person for bed linen and towels or we could've brought our own (which is not ideal especially that we have flown in). Then you need to put them all yourself and strip them off afterwards and take them back to the office where you leave keys upon check out! It's exhausting and so much of a job while also paying £723 for the apartment for 4-night stay without anything else included! Quite an old complex-the parking garage is underground and when going into the building, you need to enter one of the doors to open into somewhat like a bunker! You need to switch the lights on every time because they automatically turn off. The lift is so old. Heater was not working in the toilet. No hairdryer. Then upon check out, you need to take out your rubbish and walk few minutes to put them into the public bins or you'll get charged extra. Nobody cleaned in between the days but came 30 mins before the check out time, ringing the door bell few times to chuck us out when they're already told that we are just finishing up-it's not very nice!

Location is perfect.
