Amazing location but dirty & broken

Absolutely amazing location right at the bottom of the main gondola up to the beginner slopes. Perfect for getting the kids to ski school early in the morning. Apartment had plenty of storage cupboards for ski gear and a handy locker on the ground floor. Kitchen functional and equipped with dishwasher and washing machine which often is omitted in smaller properties. Parking very handy and lovely entrance to the complex in general.

The apartment had clearly not been cleaned whatsoever after the previous occupants. It was awful to be greeted with hair in the bath, toothpaste all over the sink, and bits of rotting food in the kitchen when we arrived at midnight with two very tired children. It took 3 days of constant messaging on the app to get a reply from Interhome - obviously by then we had had to clean the whole property ourselves. Very disappointing. The main electric shutter in the lounge which allows access to the balcony and the stunning views was broken. This meant the lounge was in darkness all day, the view was blocked entirely, and we couldn’t go on the huge balcony. When speaking with Interhome main office in Switzerland they informed me that the local Chamonix office stated they had ‘told us about the shutter when we picked up the keys on arrival’. We arrived at 11:30pm and picked the keys up from a lock box - ie this was a complete lie. After complaining heavily for days we were offered €100 compensation which I then negotiated upwards but this was a battle. The apartment location is fantastic and due to this the holiday was not a complete loss. It is in desperate need of updating though and does not have a shower. The electrics would not pass any kind of safety tests in the UK and I was worried at times but I’m guessing the French standards for rentals are different. The local Interhome office is shocking - but this is not the apartment’s fault and overall it is still very good value for money.

The location is great. Next to the gondola and very quiet. The unit is dated but spacious. Other than the laundry machine fiasco, it was good.

I booked the place with a laundry machine. I put laundry in the machine and turned it on. There were no instructions there. Then it made noises and would not open to allow me to get my clothes out. The next day they sent a repair man and changed me about 400 Euros to fix it and buy a new one. They said I broke it and it was my fault. I said there where no instructions and asked what I did wrong and they just said sorry and I broke the machine so I have to pay. Clearly this was quite displeasing to me.

Lokalizacja była na 10, tuż przy gondolkach a jednocześnie 7 minut pieszo do centru. Apartament był przestronny i dobrze wyposażony. Piękne widoki. Parking tuż przy apartamencie.

Ogólnie było wysprzątane, ale zasłony , tapety , kanapy były strasznie brudne i zakurzone. Powinny być wyrzucone, wyprane po każdym sezonie bo psują całość która byłaby naprawdę super gdyby nie to. My zabraliśmy ze sobą wszystko co niezbędne aby mieć z tym jak najmniejszy kontakt, łącznie zpościelą i kocami plażowymi na brudne kanapy było ok. Najsłabsze ogniwo to personel. Nie odbiera, nie odpisuje, brak zupełny kontaktu. Przez kilka dni dzwoniliśmy i pisaliśmy o tym że lin jest nieaktywny do meldunku a w zamian otrzymywaliśmy w koło tą samą informację ze musimy zrobić odprawę online ( a ona była wciąż nie aktywna) My wszystko załatwialiśmy przez BOOkinkom ponieważ mielibyśmy problem wogole z zameldowaniem a jechaliśmy 17 godzin. Osobiście jeszcze się nie spotkałam z takim lenistwem a w podróżach jestem połowę roku i spotykam różnych ludzi. Nawet z oddanie kluczy był problem pomimo że podjechaliśmy w godzinach urzędowania a Pani nas wywalała z biura że zamknięte.

Emplacement idéal, mais équipements vieux.

La situation géographique à côté des remontées mécaniques (2 min) et proche du centre (10 min).

L'appartement mériterait un rafraîchissement. Principalement des veilles moquettes (tapis de sol) dans les chambre et de la salle de bain qui a une baignoire sans rideau de douche et un lavabo qui tient juste debout. Un des lits à étage n'a pas de barrière et les matelas sont minces et vieux.
