Casa Huéspedes Yolanda

a lovely building and exceptionally helpful staff. The location is brilliant in the centre of Madrid. Very easy door opening process.

not much - it was all good

I had a good stay at CH Yolanda, especially because of its very convenient location. It’s close to Puerta del Sol, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, convenience stores, souvenir shops, and other stores nearby. Sol Metro station is around a 10-minute walk, and the walk itself is quite convenient with lots of shops along the way. Gran Vía is also only around 13 minutes away on foot, which was great for shopping and exploring the area. A special mention for the early check-in — the staff kindly allowed me to check in early, which was really helpful and made my arrival much more comfortable. I really appreciated that gesture.

The main downside is that there is no lift, and the hostel is on the third floor, so getting up with luggage can be difficult. This is definitely something to keep in mind when booking.

Great location. Room larger than expected. Easy check.
