The staff were very friendly and they asked us many times if we needed anything. The location was good. It was close to the train station and the metro to it. That metro also went to other parts of town. The rooms were clean and the beds were fairly comfortable. They had a shared fridge that we used and a fan.
If you have a hard time with heat this could be a difficult place to stay in the summer months, but that is true for a lot of similar hostal type places in Spain. We expected that going in and it was fine for us.

The place is very well located, on a busy pedestrian street, five minutes from the old town.
The receptionist was friendly and helpful.
The facilities in the room and private bathroom were adequate.
The room didn't have a window, which means it smelled of damp whenever the aircon wasn't on.

Good location
The lift was not working, and staff told us that they will fix it by Monday - Tuesday (we came on Saturday).
