Nice garage was welcome after rainy ride. Hotel has a nice surface appearance.
Manager at reception desk was unaccomodating and a liar. The hotel was essentially empty with only me and one other couple I could see. I was put into a noisy, street side room which was totally unnecessary since I was the only guest on the entire second floor. I asked if I could be moved to a quiet room across the hall from mine since I am sensitive to street noise. I got a litany of lame excuses and bald face lies about the hotel being booked. I hate being lied to and treated like a nuisance. There was one couple at diner and I was the only person in the dining room for breakfast. Although the hotel has a nice surface appearance the room accomodations are spartan and poor. Cold tile floor with no rugs or runners. Bed blankets and cover were cheap bargain store items. No internet access available in room. Out of the hundred plus hotels I've stayed in in Europe for the past 4 decades, the Sole is the second worst.
