The room was cleaned in a timely fashion, and the housekeeping staff were very friendly and smiled a lot.
The noise from the traffic (Mopeds, tractors, people walking past) plus, guest and locals was nearly constant. The hotel bar crowd was loud until 2400 hours and later. The restaurant nor bar staff spoke or often unless asked a question. Smiles seemed forced, and my wife, friend, and I felt needed for the business but otherwise not really wanted. The food was limited in variety, and the same small selection of breakfast items every single day. The evening dinner options were the same. Parking in the underground garage was limited; especially when the 15 or so spaces were used by the staff every day. The biggest issue is the horrendous drive up and down the mountain that has a very narrow winding road that takes 10-15 to try driving safely. The final problem is Booking.Com quoting the total price of Euro 627.43, and then the hotel increased the base price to Euro 674.10 as the rate for our stay. I have never had this happen before using Booking.Com. The hotel explained the difference as a discount given by Booking.Com and not them.
