The property was extremely close to the town centre yet very quiet and it was easy to park. The host was so charming and helpful and the property was very tastefully decorated. A real gem!

The location is excellent as it is in a very quiet street off one of the main squares and so coming out of the property you are in the main centre of town. We parked easily in the square and in the Parking Plantier both free and suitable for our small camper. The privacy of having your own little cabin with decking was lovely. The added touches such as a decent fridge, air conditioning and a microwave were great. The bed was comfortable and shower good. Be aware though that the property handles payment and it is cash only

Well it was very unfortunate that there was a power cut across Sarlat on our second night so we had no air con and no lights and couldn't have breakfast. Something that the owner might consider is having some torches or battery lamps in case of these emergencies, we used our phones which was fine but challenging as we couldn't charge them. Another of her madeleines would have been welcome when we left or a cold drink to keep us going before we found somewhere, especially as we had ordered breakfast.

Michelle welcomed us into this relaxing haven just at the edge and within steps of the medieval town. Her help was much appreciated in arranging a taxi pickup as well as helping us look for alternatives when our day tour was cancelled at the last moment. Loved her dog Jazz too! Terrific shower and breakfast.
