Villa Martha is a slice of heaven

Our stay at Villa Martha was absolutely magical. Every detail was perfect - the AMAZING breakfast (seriously the best eggs I’ve ever eaten), the happy hours with custom drinks, the beautiful room, and the prime location near the gondolas. I mean, wow. You can’t ask for more. Matteo’s hospitality cannot be beat. This place is truly special. We really hope to come back one day!

The owner is friendly and professional. He helped us every thing we asked! The room is clean, comfortable, and decorated nicely. The breakfast is very delicious and looks artistic. The location is close to bus stop and a few good restaurants. The parking is just outside the hotel, and checking is onsite. This is the best place among the 3 places we stayed at Dolomites!

Loved the area, loved the host, close to everything and easy parking.

Location was great, and breakfasts even better. Matteo is a wonderful host, full of tips on how to maximise your time in the area, and a phenomenal chef if you can arrange dinner here. He has an enormous music collection and the lounge and bar area were fabulous to relax and dine in after a long day. We loved our stay here.

A hotel with personality

Charming little hotel with comfortable rooms and beautiful views. The breakfast was amazing and I regret skipping it on my first day. Easy access to the public buses. Having the bus pass provided by the hotel to get free access to the local buses was a real perk.

The hotel is at the top of the hill so definitely recommend using the bus to go up where you can.

Cosy and charming hotel which is in a good locatin.

The hotel was in a convenient location in St. Christina-about a 15 mins walk to the bus stop that could take you to the other villages like Ortisei. The staff are extremely polite and helpful. They gave me a very early check in as the room had been ready and gave me a free bus pass I could use for my stay. I was made to feel very comfortable. The room Itself has an old charm to it and was very clean which made the experience extremely cosy and comforting. There is a really nice view facing the mountains if you get a room with a view. They also have free parking slots right in front of the hotel. Highly recommend this stay for anyone looking to stay in the Val Gardena area.

Perfect place to stay if you are looking for a relaxed and peaceful space with amazing food and hosts!

The property was amazing!! We really enjoyed the vintage decor and how homey the atmosphere was. Breakfast was phenomenal with many different sweet and savory options including fruit and juices. Matteo made coffee and eggs to order each morning which was an added bonus. All the food/ingredients were tasty and you could tell they were fresh. Our last night at the hotel we opted to stay in for dinner and eat the prepared menu. We were blown away by the depth of flavor and speed in which the dishes were prepared. Matteo’s daughter was a huge help to us while we stayed there as well. She was very friendly when we checked in and provided us with a late night dinner recommendation as well as bus pass information and things to do in the area. She took care of us during dinner and was very kind and attentive. We have been traveling for 2 weeks now and this stay ranks among the best of our whole trip! Anything we needed, they could provide us with! Printed documents for parking at our next excursion, a complimentary wooden wine stopper, help explaining the bus system, and checking in on us to make sure we were enjoying our stay and having fun in the area. A beautiful place inside and out - front porch, lobby, dinning area, hall and rooms. Breakfast is excellent, the best we had during our trip in Italy. Matteo is always attentive that makes us feel like being at home.

The perfect small B and B with personal service.

Perfect location for a touring visit to Val Gardena in this rustic style B and B. Matteo was the perfect host. Breakfast excellent, with homemade cakes. 7 minutes walk from Col Raiser lift to Seceda. A short free bus ride from Sassolungo. Amazing scenery , we could admire it from the balcony. Santa Cristina is quiet but within easy reach of local bars, restaurants and towns. Good parking opposite.

Matteo is a life saver and the most considerate person ever!

I arrived when it was cold and raining and was welcomed by Matteo. He helped me get my bags to the room, then as per my request made me excellent spaghetti and tea. The next morning I got sick and had to extend my stay. He continued to surround me in care and was very reassuring and polite. The whole villa is super cozy and beautiful. There was a heater in my room which came in handy. Blankets and pillows were soft and comfortable, there was more than enough of soap and shampoo. Carpet of the floor allows you to walk on the floor barefoot. If I go to this area again I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing breakfast and charming host

The host and owner Matteo is very friendly and accomodating. We arrived early before our check-in time to leave our bags before a hike, and was offered a free room upgrade that was ready for use without question. The style and interior of the place is carefully carried out with attention to detail. This is not a place with modern and new facilities, but rather a focus on traditional vintage style with quality. Perfect location to stay for a hike up Seceda, and also close to the city centres of Santa Cristina and Ortisei. There are many available parking spots next to the hotel. The breakfast alone was worth the stay. We really recommend guests to take time to really enjoy this. Great local, quality food which is elegantly served. Tasteful granola, bread, pancakes, jams, fruits, berries, coffee, cappuccino, ham, cheese, cakes, juice and the best omelette I have ever tasted served simmering warm.

Super Villa for Dolimiti Superski

I don't think I have met a better host than Matteo, who helped us with so many aspects of our stay. The decor and vibe of the place made you feel like you were in a special place. The breakfasts were simply amazing and a highlight of our experience. The ski room downstairs was a real asset, as was the wonderful bar and sitting area on the main level. Villa Martha was walking distance to town and restaurants, but in a nice quiet neighborhood without traffic.

Our room was a bit small for a 5-night stay.

Hotel clean and nice. I would say classic-boutique style. Lots of small nice unique things around the hotel. It looks better than in the photos! Excellent breakfast made to every guest personally. Chef Mateo makes eggs and cold meet / cheese platter! Please ask him to make homestyle Italian dinner, this will be one of the best experience you will find in Val Gardena. I can promise that!
