Cairnmhor is a delightful 4 bed, 5 minutes walk from the town centre in Portree. With beautiful views over to Ben Tianavaig and across Portree Bay you couldn't ask for a better location.
The house has been given a make over early in the year to give you a wonderful escape to the heart of the island, Portree.

We enjoyed our stay at Cairnmohr House! There were just 4 adults in our party, so we had more room than we needed. The house has a beautiful view of the harbor. Catherine was very helpful and responsive to messages. We had a lovely holiday on Skye and will visit again!

We had a wonderful stay in Cairnmhor House! The house is spacious and comfortable, and the location is excellent -in a quiet area, but only a quick walk from downtown.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We figured out the stove & dishwasher but the videos were outdated on these appliances. The kitchen could have been a little better stocked but we managed nicely. Loved the town of Portree & enjoyed walking to & fro. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay.

The location is great, 4 to 5 minute walk into portree proper. This is nice because parking portree can be challenging. Parking on site is nice in the driveway and spacious for large vehicles.
The communication with the manager/host was not as great as expected. I had to call one morning as the dryer in the unit was not appearing to dry any of our clothes, including my 10 month olds clothing brought on the trip, the manager seemed irritated. Maintenance man came out and put half of bar clothes on the counter and ensured it was working correctly, but none of our clothes were able to dry for the next day and a half. The manager showed up at the property while my mom was watching our son and appeared verbally short and disrespectful towards my mother. The baby cot was not there when we arrived and I made sure to email beforehand to ensure it was there, was dropped off within 20 minutes.
