About a 25 min walk downhill to the old town so if you want to walk back a certain level of fitness is required as it’s quite steep. There is a bus stop outside the hotel. Very traditional but lovely hotel. Room was large and comfortable. Reception staff were excellent and breakfast was very good. Gardens were lovely with lots of seating areas to enjoy a drink. We didn’t have time to try the pool but it looked lovely.
Parking on site was a little bit tight but the host was on hand to help.

What a beautiful property! The house is decorated like a 19th century movie set and the gardens and pool are stunning. The breakfast was wonderful and I think sourced from their property.
I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.
