Breakfast was in a large Breakfast hall or room with lots of visitors from many countries. It was a very full spread and more like fine dining. You do not go down in your pajamas!
The grounds were large and beautiful. I would have picked a different room if I'd known as there are better views and balconies. Check it out thoroughly and book ahead if you can. Also we were there in May so the pools weren't functioning yet.
There is not an elevator if you have a lot of luggage but staff will help you. Just one flight of stairs if you are in the main house.

We booked Quinta das Murtas B&B at the last minute as our original location had to cancel unexpectedly; to say we were pleasantly surprised is an understatement. The house is beautiful, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was plentiful and varied, and the staff was lovely and helpful. We could not have been happier!!! It was a bit of a walk into town for me (I have some mobility issues) but it meant the grounds were lovely and quiet and restful. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Location, parking, pet friendly.
Accommodation itself was charmless, uncomfortable and with a persistent smell of sewage coming from the bathroom.
