* Incredible staff – always available, extremely friendly, honest, and genuinely focused on helping guests. They never tried to take advantage of anyone and were always willing to assist with a smile. * Exactly as shown in the photos – everything matched our expectations perfectly, with no unpleasant surprises. * Charming and welcoming hotel – not overly luxurious, but very comfortable, beautifully maintained, and exceptionally clean. * Beautiful property and pool area – a lovely and relaxing environment, with a beautiful swimming pool to enjoy during the stay. * Excellent breakfast – a great selection of fresh and delicious food, providing a perfect start to the day.
* Location – the hotel is very central, which is a great advantage. However, it is located in a less touristy part of the Medina, and access involves walking through a local market street. The area felt safe and authentic to us, and we enjoyed experiencing local life. That said, travellers who are more sensitive to smells or busy market environments may find this part of the walk slightly uncomfortable.

This place is a true Moroccan experience, from building to people. The Riad is located perfectly near a last remaining true market, easy to reach road for drivers or taxis and yet in a quiet street. The building is exceptional in style and sense of a fairytale. As for the staff, they went beyond to assist, serve, and organize the various excursions. Good breakfast and nice dinner if you choose. Perfect!
None that I could consider.

I liked being able to arrange for a ride to and from the airport. The riad is quiet and whether this is good or bad depends on the person, but the quiet means one does have to interact with other guests. They have some flexibility on breakfast schedule. The personal fridge in the bedroom was handy!

Good location just inside the walls of the medina, so it has easy access to the rest of the city. The host greeted us when we arrived by taxi and brought us in through the market streets. The riad is located on a side street rather than the main drag, and so was very quiet and sheltered. The orange tree in the courtyard is lovely! Our bedroom was pleasant, if a little tight for three of us (there is virtually no bathroom/toilet privacy, due to the smallness of the ‘saloon doors’). Daily cleaning was good, with the room efficiently prepared.
This is not a place for a December stay; when we arrived it was cold and rainy in Marrakesh (not the Riad’s fault of course), and there are no communal indoor spaces: the only warm place to sit and relax is in your bedroom, which was not ideal considering we were part of a group. This was particularly important for breakfast, since it was very cold sitting in the courtyard at 9.00am. Also, we booked an evening meal on our first night since we hadn’t yet got our bearings, and were shocked that this was not in a dining room, but also out in the cold courtyard, with rain dripping through the canopy. So our vision of a cosy evening meal was thwarted, and we would have expected the host to point this out, and instead recommended a good restaurant nearby: our evening was quite miserable! The toilet in the en-suite had a flimsy loose thin plastic seat: it would hardly cost anything to put in a proper securely-fixed solid one.
