I loved the integration of the hot springs with the hotel. We got a room with our own hot spring tub that we called a flower pot. The atmosphere was really relaxed with everyone encouraged to wear the cotton yukatas provided when walking around. They also provided extra amenities in the lobby area like snacks and sake tastings. One afternoon we saw they offered marshmallows to roast on a fire pit outside. And if you’re hungry at 10pm, you can get complimentary soup.
Our room’s location was a long walk from the lobby, up and down a couple staircases. We also should have signed up for the dinner in advance. It was difficult to signup at checkin since they had limited seating and there aren’t many local restaurants in town.

The property was beautiful and the onsens were amazing!
They didn’t serve vegetarian meals while they did tell me in advance. Maybe they could make some arrangements in the future
