It is a nice away type of hotel. Love the onsen . The little snack corner is a lovely touch. The dinner and breakfast were superb

Great dinner. Very friendly staff. Generally acceptable Onsen.
Breakfast is the same everyday. Location is very remote. No English name sign on building so it is easy to miss it. All restaurants in the area must be reserved or you won't be served and they all close very early. Didn't expect food would be a problem in Japan.

The hotel is near Shinhotaka Ropeway. It takes only 14 minutes by car.
The hotel is run down. There are 4 private onzens but there is no shower before taking into the bath in each rooms. Regarding the food, we inform the hotel in advance that one of our group can't eat beef. We don't have any problem for the dinner, they can provide us with pork. However, they still serve beef for breakfast and say that it is unable to change. We don't understand while they can change for dinner but can't change for breakfast. The price for our stay is quite expensive comparing with the service received.
