Mozumo (Adult Only)

Mozumo was an idyllic onsen retreat in the Japanese alps. Kamikochi is only a short bus journey away. There is no better way to recover from a day spent hiking than soaking in your own private onsen. A highlight of my trip

I have Never been to such a beautiful place! Stunning nature, huge and spotless room. The private onsen is amazing, and the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. Spotless cleanliness throughout. Having tried other hotels nearby, this is hands down the best. Wish I could have stayed longer!

The place is truly magnificent. We loved everything from the setup to the dinner/breakfast. It has the perfect balance between traditional and modern (legit mattresses) and the private onsen is a bliss.

Be prepared to pay 15k/pers/dinner and 3k/pers/breakfast, but still well worth it.

Facilities including the private onsen was incredible. Nature view from the room including Japanese maple trees. Comfortable beds.

The hotel policies were unfriendly and the staff were rude. They kicked us out of the hotel lobby right after check out, wouldn't let us sit in the shared lounge for an hour after check out while we waited for our bus. It was raining and we were travelling with an 82 year old woman as part of our group. The staff were rude and unpolite. Although the facilities were wonderful, we do not think it is worth the money. Unfortunately the hotel staff were unhelpful even regarding where we could dine and there was no one at the reception desk when we arrived with our luggage and had to take them to the room ourselves. Location inconvenient unless you have a car.
