Mozumo (Adult Only)

Best hotel experience I’ve had. Staff were so attentive to detail and making me feel welcomed. Facilities were amazing, the onsen was so relaxing and everything was very clean. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Nothing! Wish I spent more nights here!

The hotel is otherworldly. It's a simple place: your room (they only have a dozen, so it feels like you have the place for yourself), a shared space near reception, and the common baths. But each place is carefully crafted and maintained. The experience was fantastic. Location is top notch.

Only negative is the amount of insects that get into the room. I would say it's not an issue the staff can fix, as the hotel is embedded in the forest, which is overall a very positive thing (the feeling of being in the forest, two feet away from the trees, when in the bathtub), so there is no way to fully prevent insects from getting into the rooms. But the insects can be very large: spiders, grasshoppers, etc.

Facilities including the private onsen was incredible. Nature view from the room including Japanese maple trees. Comfortable beds.

The hotel policies were unfriendly and the staff were rude. They kicked us out of the hotel lobby right after check out, wouldn't let us sit in the shared lounge for an hour after check out while we waited for our bus. It was raining and we were travelling with an 82 year old woman as part of our group. The staff were rude and unpolite. Although the facilities were wonderful, we do not think it is worth the money. Unfortunately the hotel staff were unhelpful even regarding where we could dine and there was no one at the reception desk when we arrived with our luggage and had to take them to the room ourselves. Location inconvenient unless you have a car.
