Seven Dreams Hotel

Seven Dreams was an ideal choice for my stay in Istanbul - perfect location handy to the mosques and the cistern and other choice sites, filling breakfasts each day with fresh-squeezed orange juice and perfect cappuccino, plus very attentive and friendly staff. Bedding and pillows were very comfortable, and the shower and hot-tub were a nice touch of luxury. Also handy to a multitude of restaurant choices and local shops.

Loved the location, the deluxe room, large windows and nice balcony. They have a nice roof top terrace with a view to Aya Sofia and Blue Mosque. The managers are really nice and helpful, both the hotel and restaurant. Maybe some fine touches needed in the rooms but overall experience was great for a 3night stay and long walks.

Not having an elevator may be difficult for older people or very picky guests. It was not a problem i have, anywhere i travel.

Free upgrade to a deluxe room by the very friendly host. Spacious, clean and comfortable room. Centrally located, 5 min walk to bus stop and Blue and Hagia Sophia mosques. Such friendly staff! Beautiful roof top terrace and delicious food from on-site restaurant.

The hotel is run by the restaurant below so when you arrive at the hotel there's no one at reception. There are spiral stairs leading to the rooms with no elevator. We were at the top level and it was a bit difficult to carry 3 large suitcases up the stairs. It's also very noisy at night with guests walking up and down the stairs to visit the rooftop restaurant. The owner also accused us of not paying and said we were trying to avoid them. We paid before our arrival and he couldn't check with us first as to what was going on but immediately made accusations. The bathrooms are also not private at all.
