Adequate for an overnight stay and within a very short car ride to a very picturesque town centre.

My room was well-equipped and comfortable. The receptionist was friendly and helpful.

The buildings and their environment were a shock as overall they looked neglected and the gardens overgrown. The approach was through an industrial estate without much signage.

Old school hotel (with a bath tub and a hand roller shutter) but it was clean and functional. Breakfast may seem a little bit expansive compared to other hotels, but again nothing to really complain about.

Breakfast was adequate

The Hotel advertises that the reception is open from 06.30 to 23.00hrs. We arrived at 13.00 hrs and the place was locked. When finally we got hold of someone they would not give us keys to the rooms before 15.00hrs. later they put a key in a key deposit box which when we returned to the hotel would not open because it was broken. The price that was charged was nearly twice what was advertised on the board outside the hotel

Most enjoyable, very good value for money.

A very nice modern hotel in a commercial development. Easy to find because of the hotel sign on a tall pylon easily visible above the surrounding buildings from the main road. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, whilst there was plenty of parking space. Upon arrival I was advised by the young man on reception that the chef was not on duty, so no meals were available. However, he was very attentive and prepared a buffet meal for me, which was all that I needed, which went down well with a nicely chilled bottle of Sauvignon Blanc on the restaurant terrace on a warm summer's evening. A continental breakfast was included in the room price, with a good selection of food available.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. We had dinner in the restaurant - it wasn't bad and the waiter did his best but he was obviously untrained (served brandy in a glass meant for water), but he tried (10 out of 10 for that). We paid him a compliment to say thank-you to the chef who came out personally with a free dessert.

The property reminded me more of a run-down motel in America more than a hotel in France with a fancy name like Hôtel du Lac. Certainly it looked quite dilapidated. Where is the lake?

Poor design and substandard facilities

Quiet location, staff pleasant, easy parking, garden terrace for breakfast.

Stairs had a non-grippable banister (wood planks), which was dangerous. The rooms are unventilated and the windows are designed not to open. It was very hot and claustrophobic. Finally had to leave the outside door open all night. No accessories, not even a bar of soap.

They charge some extra as advance even after paying your room charges in full. They say they will refund after the checkout for which I had to wait for more than a week to be reflected on my card. I am travelling so its like I will having to contact for the refund when I reach back in India! The room heater is not sufficient enough to keep the room warm.

Pas de chauffage dans la chambre hormis dans la salle de bain. Pas possible d’allumer le chauffage. Pleins de toile d’araignée sous le chauffage et le lit. Matelas très mou. Pas trop isolé pour le bruit et la lumière autour de la porte. Bouilloire indiqué sur la présentation de la chambre mais non présente.

Pratique pour une étape / super proximité avec parc

Le rapport qualité prix pour un hôtel d’étape était bon. L’hôtel est situé dans une zone commerciale mais à même pas 10minutez à pied et 2 en voiture, vous pouvez rejoindre un beau plan d’eau/ base nautique très vert et agréable pour vous balader (il y a même un camping) tout proche. Nous voyageons avec notre chien, c’était encore plus agréable ce lieu à proximité. Personnel très agréable.

Le petit déjeuner n’était pas top mais ils avaient tout ranger à notre arrivé car suite à un bug, ils ne pensaient pas avoir d’autres clients. Ils ont malgré tout ressorti pour nous et avec le sourire ! Ils y avait sûrement des œufs ou des choses auquel nous n’avons pas eu accès
