Very disappointing stay!

I liked the fact that there was a proper parking place with sufficient parking space for many cars, and that the residence was quite close to getting on to the highway

On arrival before checking in, due to no instruction, we were not able to enter the building and had to wait for another guest to show up to let s in. The room, the corridor was shabby and did not feel clean. The kitchenette was poorly furnished with supplies (plates, cutlery, etc,) no toaster, and the surface of the kitchen bench was badly scratched. There was only one clothes hanger in the apartment, the wall heaters did not work except for the one in the bathroom, the pillows were uncomfortable. the Wi-Fi was very poor (we had to use our data). Only one rubbish bag was provided for the 3-night stay and no tissues or kitchen paper were provided.

Great for a stop over, but hot with no air con.

The location was great for a stop over when driving down to the south of France. The room sizes were good and it was handy having a fridge.

No air con - this was a big problem with two young children, it was just so hot. We didn’t realise it didn’t have air con when we booked, otherwise we wouldn’t have booked it in the summer. They do provide a fan, but this really didn’t do anything. There’s also nothing walking distance for food. It wasn’t a problem as we just drove for 5/10 mins, where there were a couple of restaurants and a supermarket, but it might bother some people.

Staff - the only bright side of this hotel - were very friendly and tried to help. However it wasn't easy in the given circumstances.

The hotel is 15 minutes by car from Nantes center and 30 minutes from the airport. However, it is separated from the city by a busy ring road. Traffic jams are common there and on connecting streets, so do not count on short travel times. Photos on booking.com do not match reality. The hotel looks like a very cheap hostel, even though it cost almost €200/night for my family. The building needs repainting outside. The lobby is very small. Corridors are dark. The breakfast room is also small and dark. There was a strong chemical smell inside the room and the corridor, said to come from disinfectant. If you are sensitive to smells or have allergies, avoid this place. There is no air-conditioning in the rooms, only in the lobby. Rooms get very hot in summer. A sign by the elevator warned not to use it if possible, and to use it one family at a time. It did not feel safe. We booked the two-level family suite. It had space, beds for five, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a restroom. Still, we had problems: no lock on the restroom door, mold in the shower, scratched wallpaper, dusty floor, and poor, cold, harsh LED lighting. Breakfast was very basic and overpriced (€20/person): baguettes, butter, jam, coffee, yogurt, and raw eggs. Guests must boil eggs themselves. That may be fun, but not practical if you are in a rush. The breakfast room was too warm and dark even in the morning. Reception is not open 24/7. It was even closed at 11:00 in the morning on checkout day. There is no restaurant. Staff suggested ordering pizza online or going to the Sure hotel next door, which looked much better and had a proper restaurant.

Well-equipped small apartment with kitchenette and double bedroom on the edge of Nantes.

The main reason we chose it was for the private parking as we have a van with 2 bikes on a bike carrier. It was really parking either side of the road outside the hotel and was not secure. The sofa bed in the living room was made up so we could not sit on it to read/watch TV.

The hotel was quite run down. The Hotel was not like the pictures. The staff were not helpful.

Poor quality tired rooms

We had a major leak under the sink with stagnant water pouring onto the kitchen floor. We complained about it five consecutive days and it wasn’t until the 6th day of our stay that it was fixed. We were told prior to arrival there was a freezer inside the fridge however that was false information, we were also told we would be on the first floor as we had 2 babies only to turn up and be told that there was no space on the lower floors and because it was fully booked it was not possible to move rooms! overall a lot of misinformation prior to stay which was very disappointing so will not be returning
