breakfast was toast and cereal
a cooked breakfast would improve ratings tremendously, the kitchen looked clean and well equipped

Breakfast was good value. Location was handy for public transport, trains and particularly buses, very important for a non-driver! Hotel was an easy walk (5 minutes) for the sea front. Grounds needed talc but not so important to me.
This is my second visit to this hotel, and while it is still clearly a work in progress, things have improved much. So I can’t really say that I disliked anything really.

Very decent location with amazing staff
A tad confusing to check in but overall not horrible
5 / 10·Aug 2026
I liked where its located as its right near the seafront and harbour.
It was a very basic dated room with no hot water for a shower. Outside the room it was untidy and looking out of the room window it was untidy and messy. Attention to detail is very much needed.
