Exceptional

Everything. Hosts were perfect and we got by with pigeon French/English good to know the basics of French if possible. Pool was a lovely addition. Location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. Dinan, Dinard, St Malo and Cancele no more than about 30 minutes away. Found a great pool with slides and lazy river, indoor and outdoor on the outskirts of St Malo, Aqua Malo which was great fun.

Fantastic Stay at La Rocque

Beautiful house and facilities. The owners were extremely welcoming and friendly making a big effort to communicate in English with us. Beautiful pool and surrounding countryside. Clean,comfortable house with plenty of space in the garden for children to play.

Recommended highly for its location, the quaintness of the house, it’s lovely compact garden.

The location is very good and if you were lucky, you might find a bay in the parking lot on the road parallel to the house.

The ceiling fan in the main bedroom wasn’t working. There wasn’t a fan in the second room and we were experiencing a heatwave. And the Wi-Fi kept dropping.

Loved our stay here. Very clean house and lots of room outside for our dog. The family were so welcoming and friendly. The town is a short drive away. Also alot of main towns and cities all within 20 to 30 mins. We were there in April so the pool wasn't open but thst would have been a fantastic addition.

Exceptional

Wondering if you should stay here? We gave it 5 stars! The peaceful surroundings make it a great place to unwind. The kitchen is well equipped, the large couch comfortable and the dining room table large enough for 6 people. The terrace was equipped with a BBQ, a lounge area and an outside table. The rooms upstairs are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The view of the garden and the chirping of the birds a great way to greet each day. The swimming pool was a lovely bonus.

Fantastic Family Home from Home in rural Brittany

Very easy - we were met by the charming owners on arrival - there when you wanted while leaving us to our own devices. The swimming pool was perfect, the grounds were large and well maintained. The house itself was more than large enough for our family of four and cool inside over the 2019 mini heatwave. Comfy beds too. The location is not at all bad - Combourg with chateau and supermarkets a ten-minute drive - and only marked down for a sense of balance. I’d recommend Pontorson for bike hire with green route to Mont St Michel and Dinan both within 30 minutes drive.

Perhaps some more kitchen utensils? But that’s carping at a very pleasant stay.

Super séjour, gîte bien aménagé, calme et idéalement situé

Hôtes accueillants et disponibles tout en restant discrets. À notre arrivée, les lits étaient faits et le linge de toilette fourni, ce qui est très appréciable. Très beau gîte, cadre exceptionnel, grand terrain sécuritaire qui a permis aux enfants autant qu'au chien de se défouler en toute sécurité. Confort des lits parfait. Gite parfaitement équipé pour y passer les vacances comme à la maison. Petite terrasse close qui nous a paru bien agréable également, idéalement exposée quand le soleil est décidé, mais la météo ne nous a pas permis d'en profiter pour confirmer . Idéalement situé à 30minutes de Rennes/St malo/Mont Saint Michel, nous a permis de rayonner en étoile chaque jour au départ du gîte sans passer trop de temps sur la route. Les communes de Combourg et Dol de Bretagne à 10 minutes chacune valent également le détour. Si l'occasion se présente nous ne manqueront pas de le recommander voire d'y revenir.

Fantastische cîte. Rustig gelegen en van alle gemakken voorzien. Stukjes rijden om iets te bezoeken maar dat was onze opzet. Voorjaar was zwembad nog dicht maar daar was het toch iets te fris voor. Zeker een aanrader als je van rust en natuur houd.

Super séjour en famille

Très joli gîte avec tout le matériel nécessaire pour etre comme chez soi. Séjour avec 2 grands qui ont adoré le trampoline et les cages de foot. Et un bébé qui avait tout ce dont il avait besoin (lit, chaise haute, couverts et assiettes bb...). A 30 minutes de tous les endroits touristiques. Les hôtes sont très sympathiques et arrangeants. Très bon séjour.
