Weinstockwerk Hotel St Peter

Weinstockwerk Hotel St Peter s a cozy little palce close to St Peter's church. It's a 25 minutes walk to the city center (or a 15 minutes ride with the bus). The family room we had was of a decent size, very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was HUGE and the two sinks there were quite handy in the morning. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast which was very good, the fridge downstairs stocked with water and beer and last, but not least, staff's willingness to help and friendliness. We really appreciated the parking spot in the internal courtyard, the advice regarding places to have diner in town and we enjoyed our stay in the hotel.

Very early in the morning (like 6 o'clock early) we did not have warm water, only cold. The issue was fixed by 8.30, so not really a negative aspect, except if you are an early bird :-).

The hotel itself is so elegantly decorated and it's beautiful walking through the different halls. Take the wooden staircase for a lovely experience. We got upgraded to a room in the actual hotel building so thank you to the staff for sorting that out. I think the original room we had was next to the car park. Speaking about the car park, it is very tight so if you have a big SUV and have trouble getting into tight spaces, you might think of parking elsewhere. Lastly, the breakfast was amaaaazing and everything we tried was so delicious. The whole ambience was so beautiful and it felt clean and welcome!

The lighting in the bathroom could have been better. Not enough lighting at the basin and also the walk-in shower. No iron was available unfortunately.
