It was central to the town. Good continental breakfast.

Being confronted with non residents wanting breakfast!! There was no sign saying breakfast for hotel guests only till 11am.

Very poor experience and expensive for what you get.

The breakfast was good with cheery staff.

Car parking in the hotel's facility was a nightmare. The reception lady who spoke perfect English gave poor and confusing directions so it took a long time to find and was full as it's shared with a sister hotel. Our room was not as booked. It was in the roof space. No view as no window and the Velux skylight meant it was very noisy when it rained. The pretty bar shuts early so we missed it. And all the leisure facilities, pool etc., are in a separate hotel down the road. Walk along the street in your wet swimming gear. No thanks.

The location is great, the town of Radda is beautiful and very relaxed. The property is located in the centre of the town with very easy access. The room was spacious and comfortable with lovely views of the church and town square.

The jacuzzi and sun lounger area is very small and you are restricted to using it in set time slots booked through the reception team. The majority of the afternoon most of the sun loungers are in the shade so if you want the sun you either need to get in before anyone else or sit in the jacuzzi.

Excellent 5 star stay!

Location and staff. We were in center of Chianti, able to do day trips to different places of our interests, and return in the evening to this quaint small village with the most memorable sunsets because of its location. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We rented 2 rooms, one of our family members had to depart at 2 am, and the made a breakfast bag for my relatives so that they had something to eat and drink on way out. Will never forget that extra touch.

The position was perfect, and the hotel looks beautiful.

The bed could have been more comfortable, and maintenance needs improvement , from loose soap holders in the shower to a stained yellowed toilet seat. Overall, the room felt a bit neglected. Additionally, the pool area was totally wet when we got there and the showers were spilling water all over, making the space feel poorly maintained.

A beautiful, historic property, situated in a lovely little town. The room was very well appointed, comfortable and luxurious. The staff were all wonderful, really kind and caring. Use of the underground pool was a bonus for our stay in April.

A wonderful hotel full of character and charm, with very helpful staff

The hotel has bags of character and the staff were extremely helpful. It is situated in the heart of the ‘town’ which is very picturesque

The only thing to be aware of is that the spa is not in the hotel itself, it is a separate location a short walk from the property and needs booking which is a bit restrictive. We were looking forward to using the facilities but unfortunately the availability was a but limited given our schedule. I would recommend trying to book in advance via the hotel if that is possible

The location

No parking anywhere near the property, absolutely not for guests with any mobility issues or physical disability. Receptionist commented that she had never seen anyone like me before (a person needing a disability aid!) Not a shining endorsement. The room was far from spotless and it smelled strongly of mould, there was no window at all. Parking & other facilities were not as advertised. The room booked wasn’t available when we arrived.

Mariangelina on the reception desk was outstanding. The room was lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Radda. Important...the bed was very comfortable.

We tried to go for a swim at the sister hotel which was very difficult to find.

no service on outside terrace. it you want a drink after 7 pm you have to take it to your bedroom. wonderful staff trying to do three jobs each and overworked , hence no bar service and closing of terrace at 7 pm.

The first room was ground floor with no windows, so it was dark and had a little of humidity. We asked for a change and were assigned to another room which was much better.
