comfortable and pleasant to the eye.
Breakfast was varied, well beyond pastries and coffee.
The hotel overall and the rooms recreate the 19th century design with 21th century comfort.
Spa is pretty expensive.

Picture perfect town and fabulous hotel!
This was such a cute town! The hotel was minutes from so many great restaurants. We couldn’t have been happier with the accommodations. The hotel staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and comfy and the views were SO BEAUTIFUL! I’m so happy we added this stop to our Italy vacation.

A highly enjoyable stay in a historic and beautiful setting.
Palazzo Leopoldo Dimora Storica & Spa is a beautiful historic hotel located in the charming old town of Radda in Chianti. The hotel is wonderfully designed as a whole, offering excellent services. Perched on a hilltop, it boasts stunning views over the rolling hills of Tuscany.
We stayed in the Suite Leopold, which was very spacious and beautifully decorated, featuring plenty of historical details of the building. The suite had comfortable beds and offered excellent value for money. Small dogs are also warmly welcome to stay.
The hotel also features a lovely sun terrace with two jacuzzi, which can be reserved for private use for two hours – a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the Tuscan sunshine. Guests also have access to a swimming pool located about five kilometres away, as well as to the hotel’s own indoor pool and spa facilities.
Breakfast was tasty and varied, with eggs, bacon, cheeses, cold cuts, three types of juice, bread, delicious sweet pastries, jams, fresh fruit, and a tasty avocado spread for bread. The cappuccino was excellent and served to the table.
The staff throughout the hotel were excellent and attentive, and the cleanliness was of a high standard. There is also a large free parking area, which is a great advantage.
I warmly recommend Palazzo Leopoldo Dimora Storica & Spa to anyone visiting the area!
Unfortunately, some breakfast items had already run out about half an hour before the official closing time.

Lovely accommodation, particularly enjoyed the jacuzzi
Breakfast was amazing and the room was comfortable. The outdoor jacuzzies were a lovely touch.
The first night the air con wasn't working, the room was stifling. This was sorted the following morning but I would have expected this to be checked prior to check-in

Great breakaway, great facilities, great location
The hotel is located in the gorgeous village of Radda with a good selection of eateries and a small selection of shops with local goods. You will need a car to get around as there are no taxis! Plenty of vineyards around 10-20 minutes away.
I’d have like to have seen more local produce at breakfast - local honey, local jams etc. especially when one of the shops in the village sells local honey.

We enjoyed the stay overall and can recommend it very much.
the place is unique and have a special atmosphere.
The rooms are basic and sufficient. the bathroom is spotlessly clean.
the breakfast was very good; it was tasty with lots of varieties.
we would not recommend the dinner menu; it was not worth the cost.
the rooms which are on the main street side are noisy due to the adjacent bar activity. we couldn't sleep as the talking and laughing were very loud. we asked the reception to change the room, and they did it on the next morning without further delays. the rest of the rooms are very quiet.

Great experience and will definitely come back. We regretted having to leave.
We loved the medieval buildings and architecture, as well as the aerial views from the terrace and town hill. The hotel offered beautiful rooms, exceptional hospitality, and delicious Italian food. The private pool felt exclusive, and we appreciated the friendliness of the locals.
Breakfast may be richer. The air conditioning did not work in one of the rooms, and the pool requires some renovation. Although we had access to the spa, no one explained how to use it or encouraged us to enjoy the facilities. We also confirmed our dinner reservation, but we had to follow up on it ourselves. Outdoor jacuzzis were not available, even though they could have been.

Beautiful hotel but avoid the restaurants
Hotel and room were beautiful!
Both restaurants were huge disappointment. Food was expensive but tasteless.

Superb
Amazing location in the hills of Tuscany. The breakfast was amazing with a beautiful view, friendly staff and great facilities.
We had one large double bed and a single bed - the single bed was very uncomfortable.

Wonderful hotel set in idyllic Tuscan town
The room was large and the bed comfortable. The staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet had a good variety and dinner in the restaurant was very good. Radda is a very charming town with beautiful views of the vineyards.
There is a bar nearby that plays loud music every night we were there. Our rooms were right above it the first night and the party didn’t end until after 2am. Thankfully, the hotel staff were able to move us to another building away from the noise.

Wonderful - would recommend!
Loved the hotel and the location, thought it was perfect and the staff were great. We also ate in one of the hotel restaurants and it was delicious. Our room was huge and very clean.
Slightly annoying having the book the pool/spa - seemed unnecessary.

Fantastic place to stay and relax whilst exploring the Chianti region.
Wonderful location in the old city, just like an old rich home from medieval times.
Overpriced, breakfast mediocre and be prepared to pay for use of pool and towels!
The location was good and the staff was really friendly and nice
The breakfast was mediocre, use of indoor pool and outdoor pool was charged at €26/usage. The indoor pool was cold and the space was not clean, the outdoor was also dirty and no sign of robes. The hotel also charged for extra bath towel despite .y family noting it was me, my partner and our 3 year old daughter. We got 2 bath towels and was charged for the 3rd!!!!
