Hotel & Gasthof Fraundorfer

This is a lovely traditional family-run Bavarian gasthof in the heart of old Partenkirchen. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The restaurant offered great food and the breakfast buffet was plentiful if a bit pricy. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and there is on-site parking. The location is excellent with Ludwigstraße offering many bakeries, cafes, bars and restaurants if you prefer to eat and drink elsewhere.

While the breakfast was good, it was expensive for the offering. Onsite parking was a bit pricy too.

The hotel was in the perfect location, a cute old style Bavarian place, comfortable and cosy, with INCREDIBLE views. the restaurant was lively and the perfect atmosphere for our loud family, Will absolutely stay again and again.

This is an older guesthouse and restaurant but our room was renovated and very clean. The water was nice and hot and the room was comfortable. We had no issues with noise and there was a really nice view of the mountains from our window. The staff was welcoming, helpful, and friendly and they have a nice full breakfast each morning. The location is great and you can easily walk to the train station in about 15 minutes. The restaurant has good food and they do a very fun dance and music performance during the week. There are plenty of local places to eat and drink nearby to include a wonderful bakery and a great Italian restaurant next door. Parking is super easy to get in and out of. This is my second stay at the hotel and it is a nice authentic place.

Depending on when you book, just be mindful that the dinner with music and dancing is not offered every night. I’m not sure I saw that posted anywhere online, and not really a big deal.

Cute, cozy stay for an authentic Bavarian feel. The staff is friendly and ready to help. Great location on probably the prettiest street in Partenkirchen.
