Excellent location to view Loch Ness, especially from bar / restaurant. And to walk to harbour for cruise.
Welcoming, friendly and engaged team of staff.
Great menu, lots of choice and well cooked. I had scallops and salmon for dinner. Breakfast was hot and well presented.
Bar was well stocked. Loch Ness stout on draft was gorgeous and I bought 2 bottles in shop.
Gift shop is well stocked.
Car park has plenty spaces, plus overflow.
Room was well decorated and had everything I needed.
Good value for money as was winter rate. I would go again.
My room had view of rock/mountain i.e. not of Loch. But I stayed in restaurant until sun set and again early in morning so didnt feel I missed out.

Breakfast was good not.. the location was great.. but was beside busy road.. the main route into Inverness
.a motor way..to way road.
Had to cross from where the bus dropped me off..signs saying do not cross ...made it clear you were getting your life in your own hands if you did...the noise kept me a wake at might..all the Manager said was that I should've known sbout the motor way..cause it was obvious from Google map..I don't drive so I wouldn't know what the difference between roads on google map..manager argued we me that there was a under pass walk way to the hotel..but it was only accessable from the other side of the road

About 11 ish all the staff left.. no staff in the building at all.. no reception.. everything locked up.
I only knew this because on my last night there there..I could not sleep..and decided to go down to seat in the dinning/ cafe room and get something to drink..and everyone had gone..and reception was locked the door to the dinning /caffee not was locked no staff around..thing was a had locked myself out my room ..so I had to just seat outside my room until someone came
.,8 hours later..the dinner menu had only about six options main meals to choose from every night..the radiator maded a cracking sond every night when I turned it on.
Complained about this..Manger just said it probably needed bleeding ..and left it at that
