everything met our expectations perfectly for a 1 night pre holiday stay. If anyone likes to stay at the airport before going on holiday i would definitely recommend this hotel. Perfect.

Pool area, some staff were friendly and polite, clean rooms and comfortable bed
Food in restaurant was nice, but ridiculously priced. We ordered olives and baguette to start, neither arrived but had to ask for these to be removed from bill. daughter received desert after we had to ask for it once everyone else had finished. £16 for a 250ml glass of red wine is ridiculous/pure greed!! Booked a double room with sofa bed for children, waited until 8pm for sofa to be made up, rang reception and we had to be moved to a different room as sofa ‘wouldn’t work’ as a bed! New room given was noisy and had a problem with something clunking in room: we were offered breakfast as a gesture from staff but were leaving the hotel at 2am for airport, so this was no use, no offer to deduct this amount from bill or any other offer! Receptionist was made aware of dissatisfaction as we left, apologised and said it would be passed on! Paid £115 for night which was reasonable for 4 but meal and parking for night was then another £150, which is clearly how they make money! Wouldn’t stay again or recommend. Will def use Clayton or Crowne plaza again as we have always done previously
