APLEND Villa Dr Szontagh Est 1876

Very friendly owner and staff; the more 'old fashioned' (in a good way) type of hotel which makes it more personal than the typical modern hotel which are everywhere more or less the same. Excellent location for excursions by car; good breakfast. Refrigerator and safe in room. Separate seating space in room. Private parking for fee (which is exceptional)!

Coffee machine in breakfast room could be replaced by something more handy (coffee itself was good though); a water cooker in the room would be an excellent addition

The hotel was fine. The room was spacious, and the bed was quite comfortable. It is a very quiet location and a beautiful hotel.

We arrived at the property and it turned out to be a difficult process to check in and that reception is in another building somewhat of a distance from the hotel. Once we were able to find reception, the rest went well. If you are a senior citizen like we are There are very steep steps that you have to maneuver to get to your room with your bags it was somewhat of a challenge. Once at the hotel, there is no interaction with any hotel personnel, other than at breakfast. I’m trying not to be too critical and that it was actually a very pleasant stay

The was a fine hotel in a lovely mountain setting. The room was large and beds were comfortable. Location was very quiet. Breakfast was very good, and parking was right at the door.

Reception was in a restaurant across town, which was noted on a sign in the window. No other instructions were provided, but this did not cause any problems once we found the restaurant.
