Easy to find, very friendly service

A bit of a mission to for a smoke at night, but that's modern life. Just mentioning it or this would be empty

Good location near the central station

Good location, near the restaurants and the central station of Heerlen. Room and bathroom are okay. Breakfast is good. The shower is okay too.

Access to the hotel was terrible. There's no information indicating that guests should go to the restaurant next door to enter the hotel and then to the reception, which is on the first floor of the restaurant itself. The bed is uncomfortable. The mattress is very soft. The room is so dark and has no soundproofing.

Short and not so sweet.

It’s in the heart of the city and easy reach to everything. Quirky rooms. Good details.

The room smelt of sewage. Looked for staff. Couldn’t find anyone. Most people work in the restaurant and don’t do the hotel side. And too cold to open a window. Crap shower too!

disappointing

breakfast was fine. the location is very very noisy. Even ear plugs did not help. Last time I looked on my clock it was 2.40 am - not great with appointment early next day. Because of the location I cancelled the night of 31/12/25 with the hotel

Breakfast very good, plenty choice of bread fruit etc. fresh coffee and juice. Location very central near with other towns and Landgraaf snowworld

quick and easy trip. hotel worked well for a 2 night stay in the area. location is great.

all the basics were covered. Glad that the room had 2 fans for the summer heat. TV worked well and could watch stations from all over the Netherlands. plus English and French news channels.

Great little hotel, good breakfast and nice staff.

Awesome location on the square with all the restaurants and bars right there. But as a result it is a little noisy. Ive stayed before so it wasnt a surprise. The new restaurant is great!

Only a room, nothing else.

Comforble beds, great location (but the city center is quite small), spacious rooms and bathroom. Despite arriving after check in closed, they provided information for us to have access to our rooms.

After check out, we had to leave the hotel (no luggage room or the possibility to stay at the reception area). This was quite inconvenient since we had to carry our luggage in the rain around the city to find another spot to wait for our train. Reception told us she would close the reception and only open again after 3 PM and we could not stay there. We asked for a recommendation, and she told us to look for a coffee place ourselves.

Pretty good

Stayed in the room 505 during weekdays. Convenient location, nice breakfast. Staff is pretty awesome and allow you to check-in late (key box outside the building). You can check-in online beforehand as well. Spacious bathroom!

Windows open to an inside space, so you can't really vent your room. Room is very dark, if you drop your phone, good luck finding the light switch in the night. Noise isolation is not perfect, but they give ear plugs. During the week days, I didn't had to use them.

Good location, reasonable accommodation with excellent food.

The hotel is in a great location and close to secure parking. The hotel building itself is quite old but in reasonable decorative order. The food in the restaurant was excellent and we had a dinner for a group of 11 in the evening which was also exceptional.

The only issue we had was the rooms were very warm with no fixed air conditioning. Also there was a delay to checking in as the hotel Wi-Fi failed. This was soon resolved however and we were offered tea and coffee while we waited.

Superb

The excellent and warm service of the staff. Cindy really made us feel at home and spoiled. The location on a cute square in the heart of the city was also nice and provided many restaurant options for drinks and dinner.

We were there on a Friday night in summer which meant the cute square is also a busy one till deep in the night. The hotel offers earplugs for the light sleepers, so that is thoughtful.

Pleasant

Location was very good for my trip purpose

First of all it’s a big failure to say it was renovated, as it is still under renovation. Probably you can’t make even more cheaper interior than in this hotel, with white plastic hooks, synthetic sheets and no ventilation in the room, not sure where from taken Red Bull little fridge, which was super noisy and with a bright light. Bed too soft and uncomfortable, bells in the tower (a hundred meters from the hotel) calling every hour day and night, on Sunday - long melody every hour from early morning, people partying and music playing till at least 5am on Friday and Saturday nights next to the hotel. You can’t open a window because of that and there is no air conditioning. Elevator works only during while stuff is in the hotel and there was real struggle with my baggage - how to bring it up to the 3rd floor and bring it down. For the departure morning had to agree in advance that they would leave elevator working.

Exceptional

I liked how kind and accommodating Cindy. The housekeeping is so polite and kind too. except it is being renovated right now and have to use the stairs going up,overall I am loving my stay here. The price is great because even my partner loved how clean and good the room is, also because it is pretty close to everything. Big and clean room, toilet, very comfortable. It has kettle, hair dryer, shower and the bed is amazing. I highly recommend Stadshotel. I will be coming back for sure. Thanks Cindy.
