Great place to relax and do some activities

Great place to relax and do some activities. Dino, the owner, and his team where amazingly helpful. Place is well located nearby the beach and local restaurants. Dino arranged an amazing snorkeling trip for us and took us to a local temple. We loved our 4 night stay at Kalyssa Beach.

Stay at this gem!

Staff were friendly, brought us a complimentary dish when they saw us lounging by the pool one afternoon. Delicious breakfast with freshly baked bread, home made jams and bananas for the family farm. Gino- one of the owners- offered to drive us to Pura Melanting. He was very generous with his time and spent the morning sharing history, traditions and guided us through prayers at the temple. kalyssa is a short stroll down the beach from restaurants but far enough away peace and quiet. Highly recommend!

Pure tranquility

We had a very enjoyable stay at Kalyssa Beach Bungalows. The setting is quiet and relaxed, with well-kept gardens and spacious bungalows that are stylish and comfortable. It’s just a short walk to the beach, and the pool area is a beautiful spot to unwind in the afternoons. The real standout, though, was the team. Everyone we met was genuinely kind and helpful, always happy to assist without ever being intrusive. They organised a driver for us, which made getting around the area much easier than it might have been otherwise. Kalyssa is a very well-run place with a calm, relaxing atmosphere. We’d love to return.

I love my stay at Kalyssa Beach Bungalow

The bungalow is designed with privacy in mind, the staff are all lovely, and the room is always clean. It's not beachfront, but it's close to the main road where you can find some great restaurants.

The location is about 3 minutes from the beach by scooter. If you're walking, the road can be a bit tricky, especially after it rains.

Wonderful stay and would visit again for sure if in Bali

The pool was stunningly beautiful like a tropical paradise, and the room was spacious and clean with a cute balcony that was kept private with beautiful greenery and plants. The breakfast was super fresh with everything including the jams and bread made daily by the staff. And the staff were so welcoming and warm, it was a very peaceful and enjoyable stay. There are beautiful corals to explore and you can snorkel directly from the beach which is super close and you can borrow the equipment for free.

A joyful little Paradise

Such a lovely, peaceful, curated place. A smaller number of bungalows makes it more special, the pool is beautiful and feels like you’re in a tropical forest. The rooms are roomy and comfortable. The staff are kind and warm and they even make their own bread!! Also super responsive and helpful even to organise excursions or drivers. It’s at the end of a quiet lane, 3 mins from the beach.

Honestly loved it all. One minor suggestion would be to add mosquito nets over the beds. We were lucky in the time we were in Kalyssa (March) there didn’t seem to be many mosquitoes, but with the openness of the cottages, I wonder whether that extra layer of protection would be nice.

Hidden Gem

Location was fantastic. It’s a little bit out of town but that’s the beauty of it. Fantastic warungs close by and within walking distance to town centre. Dino, Kadek and all staff were fantastic, probably the best we’ve encountered in all our many trips to Bali.

Amazing breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. The pool is beautiful and clean. Nicely laid our property with cute bungalows, loved that there was a fan and AC in the room. The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating for our group.

Hot water in the room was all or nothing - either no hot water or only hot water. And the extra bed permanently in the room made things a bit cramped. We travelled in a group and one of the bathrooms was a bit dirty. But really small things, it was a great stay.

An unforgettable stay offering tranquility, excellent amenities, and warm hospitality near the beach

This place is fantastic, located just a short 200 meters from the beach. The highlight is undoubtedly the stunning pool that will make you never want to leave. The rooms are beautifully furnished with ceiling fans and AC (although I didn't even need the AC), incredibly comfortable beds, and spacious bathrooms. What sets this place apart is the thoughtful design, with each room having its own private patio where you can enjoy breakfast, an afternoon snack, or a beer at any time. Although it's at the end of a slightly dusty road, this is what ensures a peaceful atmosphere right next to the beach. I had a scooter, which made it convenient to explore the restaurants recommended by Dino, the resort owner. However, even without a scooter, it's only a 10-15 minute walk to some excellent dining options. I received a warm welcome at the resort, and their great recommendations, their open communication and check-ins, surprise afternoon snacks, easy access to beer, and fresh coconuts, along with their amazing pool, make it an easy choice for me to return if I come back to Pemuteran.

An ideal place to restore and unwind

From the moment I arrived I wanted to stay longer (and I did!). The place is beautifully thought out. Charming villas with green fringed privacy. Breakfast was amazing!!! Fresh warm bread every day was a real treat. The owners and staff were all so incredible I can’t praise this place enough!

Only feedback I could give (as they have only just opened) would be to perhaps provide a selection of cold soft drinks or a mini fridge in the room!?

Beautiful, calm spot close to the beach

Freshly new opened after Covid. The bugalows and the whole resort is made with so much love. It’s well thought out and just so beautiful. 2 minutes to the beach. Dino (the owner) is so friendly and helpful. He and his staff will try everything that you feel at home. I definitely recommend their freshly baked bread with their homemade papaya and pineapple jam for breakfast. YUM! Perfect stay 10/10

Exceptional

Dino the owner has created a lovely place. It's all quite new still. The bed is really comfortable, the design is beautiful, the swimming pool is my favorite of all the places I stayed at in 2 months. It was really quiet when I was there, in low season, but I enjoyed the peacefulness. I had to work a bit as well, and the place was good for that. Breakfast is delicious, freshly baked bread which was still warm and a nice bowl of fruit. Dino and his staff are really nice as well and will do everything to make you feel comfortable. Room was cleaned every day. Highly recommend this place.

Everything was great, but maybe the long chairs at the pool can use a pillow to make them more comfortable.

Such a beautiful place to stay. The location was amazing 100 metres to the beach and close to restaurants and spas. I have been to Bali so many times but never to Pemuteran it is truely a breathtaking place so quite and laid back. I will certainly be returning.

Ontbijtkeuze beperkt; geen restaurant; de 2 personeelsleden die er waren, waren van goede wil maar konden niet adequaat reageren op onze behoefte aan service. Bij aankomst werd er gezegd dat er geen staf was en er kon enkel via WhatsApp gecommuniceerd worden met de vermoedelijke staf.

Incroyable séjour

Le personnel est INCROYABLE ! Ils ont rendu notre semaine ici vraiment top : les petits dejs sont à tomber (merci pour le pain maison) et les petites attentions également. Le bungalow est plutôt grand et c'était assez pour nous 3 (couple + fille de 3 ans). Un conseil : allez manger un burger chez Lakawi, meilleur burger de ma vieeeee (et testez le Chciken Basil c'est de la folie)

Heerlijk rustig paradijs!

De plek is echt een waar paradijsje! Veel groen, een heerlijk zwembad met voldoende schaduw, mooie kamer met fijne ruime badkamer. Het ontbijt was ook super geregeld, het verse brood was heerlijk!

Het strand was minder mooi dan we hadden gehoopt, daar kan het verblijf natuurlijk niets aan doen, maar wat zonde dat er zoveel plastic afval in zee en op het strand ligt. Hier zou als gemeenschap of als eiland wel echt iets mee moeten gebeuren

Parfait et mémorable!

Le personnel était extraordinaire (Nila, Desy, Selma), souriant, aidant et très agréable. Mon bungalow était parfait, propre et confortable pour la détente. La piscine était magnifique. La nourriture était délicieuse. L’emplacement était parfait pour profiter de la plage et aussi des excursions dans la région (parc de Bali Borat, snorkling). J’ai adoré mon séjour dans cet établissement, je serai resté plus longtemps et il s’agit d’une de mes meilleures expériences durant ce voyage.

Endroit magique à Pemeturan et extrêmement calme

Quand je suis arrivée sur place, j'ai pensé que j'étais au Paradis. Le calme, la beauté du lieu, le personnel. Tout était parfait et le petit déjeuner (crêpes) était juste merveilleux. Le personnel était aussi extrêmement gentil et serviable. Tout était parfait. La piscine et les extérieurs sont d'une beauté remarquables et très reposants

Un petit coin de paradis à qq pas de la plage. La chambre comme les extérieurs sont très soignés et très agréables. Dino et toute son équipe sont aux petits soins. Il y a également un centre de massage dans la rue et un excellent restaurant (Warung D'Bucu) à proximité, tout est faisable à pied sinon Dino propose un transport. C'était parfait. Nous y sommes restés 2 nuits mais nous aurions souhaité pouvoir y rester 3 ou 4 nuits. L'excursion snorkeling à menjangan était incroyable, une de nos plus belle sortie snorkeling

Gastvrijer kan bijna niet, heerlijk om hier tot rust te komen.

De fantastische gastvrijheid, ontzettend lieve mensen die heel geïnteresseerd zijn. Komen veel ‘puurder’ over dan de mensen (in hotels) in Canggu en Ubud. Prachtige kamer, heerlijke buitendouche en een paradijselijk zwembad. Ook fijn dat je eten (snacks) kunt krijgen in de accommodatie. Je kunt hier goed tot rust komen. Foto’s komen goed overeen met de werkelijkheid.

Bedden zijn een tikkeltje hard, was voor drie dagen prima, zou er niet veel langer op willen liggen. Ook ligt het redelijk afgelegen van de bewoonde wereld. Neem een zaklamp mee als je naar een restaurant wil, want niet overal verlichting en het is een hobbelig pad.
