The Heart of the Sea is as close as you can get to the ocean at Kure Beach......unless you are in it! The Heart is ten(10) steps from the beach access. The beautiful bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed, 2 night stands, chest, and wall mirror....double closet with plenty of storage space... and a VCR and 25 inch TV.

There are 2 bunks in the alcove with storage drawers for all those bathing suits and stuff the kids will want to bring! The living room furniture is so cozy and comfortable. You can sit in a favorite chair, on the sofa or in the recliner and still take in the amazing views without leaving the house! Charter Spectrum is both the internet and cable provider. You can enjoy the Spectrum Bronze package on the 42 inch smart TV.

One bath....with tub and shower combo, lots of counter space and a washer and dryer for your convenience .

Your fully equipped kitchen has a Mr. Coffee maker and a Keurig for your favorite cup of morning Joe. A built in microwave and counter top toaster and toaster oven are included for your convenience. Complete kitchen supplies are there for your use if you decide to eat in, possibly enjoying some of the locally fresh seafood.

You will have a 180 degree view of the 41.1 million square mile Atlantic Ocean! Standing on the deck at 11' above sea level has been described by guests as standing on the bow of a ship Can it get any better? Yes! It can and it does! Sit in the one of the two hammock chairs on the deck once and you will never want to leave this island paradise! A fixed table bar on the deck allows for dining on the deck while watching and listening to the mighty Atlantic. A charcoal grill for your use is located in the sand yard. Watch the dolphins play as you enjoy a meal on the built in deck bar! Don’t miss a thing trying to peer over the railing.

When in the mood for sand and surf, bring your beach chairs and umbrella from home or utilize one of the local rental companies, that book you've been wanting to read.... and sit on the quiet beach that is literally seconds from your door! Let the magic happen!

So much to do in the area and still feel like you have your own private island!
The NC Aquarium is 1 mile away. The Civil War rich Fort Fisher is adjacent to our property. This property includes approximately 1/4 mile walkway where you can revisit the protection the fort provided the Port of Wilmington. Take time to visit the visitor's center and view an audio visual program telling the history of Fort Fisher. The grand opening was recently held for the 25 million dollar renovation to the visitor's center. The ferry is app. 2 miles away and for $7(most recent pricing) you and your vehicle can cross the Cape Fear River to the amazing little town of Southport.
