This spacious 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath condo in Kure Beach's Ocean Dunes resort community has everything you need for a wonderful beach getaway with amazing oceanfront and beachfront views, resort amenities, nearby attractions and a peaceful atmosphere.
With two private decks overlooking the ocean, you can enjoy a beautiful sunrise, catch a glimpse of dolphins or just relax. Guests have a private beach access next to the building with an outdoor shower, and an outdoor pool and gazebo just steps away.

ABOUT THE SPACE:
This end-unit condo is two stories and features two private oceanfront decks, an open floor plan, fully equipped kitchen, and is just under 1,200 square feet. It has two bedrooms, both with their own full bathroom, as well as a half bath. TVs are all equipped with cable and WiFi throughout.
The building is on pilings and does not have an elevator. The entrance of the condo is up one flight of stairs and considered the first floor.
First Floor:
• Kitchen: full kitchen (including Keurig single serve k-cup brewer & 12-cup coffee maker)
• Dining Room: seating for 8 at the table
• Living Room: oceanfront,TV, reclining sofa, and access to oceanfront deck
• Washer and dryer
• Half Bathroom
Second Floor:
• Master Bedroom has a queen bed, TV, and is oceanfront with private access to the second-floor deck
• Master Bathroom connects from the bedroom and includes a walk-in tiled shower
• Second Bedroom has a bunkbed that is a double bed over a double bed, with twin trundle (so it sleep 5 total people), and has a TV
• Second Bathroom connects from the bedroom and includes a shower/tub
Parking:
• 2 dedicated parking spots below the unit
• Guest parking is available nearby
Beach Gear:
• Six beach chairs, sand toys, and beach games are provided for guests

ABOUT THE AREA:
Located on the quiet southern end of Pleasure Island, our condo is perfect for the family or couple who enjoy peaceful evenings on the porch looking out at the ocean, with a lot of nearby attractions and excursions year-round. The condo is part of the Ocean Dunes community, which occupies one mile of beachfront with several private beach walkways and resort-like amenities that guests can use for free, including 3 outdoor pools, an indoor pool and hot tub, saunas, a common room, fitness center, 3 tennis courts, shuffleboard, basketball court, picnic area with grills, playground, and outdoor showers.
Located close to the Fort Fisher Aquarium, Fort Fisher Historical Site, and Fort Fisher Ferry to Southport makes day outings convenient. There are also many activities and attractions in the small town of Kure Beach, and Carolina Beach is only a short drive away. Enjoy great restaurants, live music, fireworks, outdoor movies at the lake, the Carolina Beach boardwalk with an arcade, Ferris wheel, shops, ice cream, Famous Britts Donuts, bars, and more.
Two nearby state parks offer hiking, fishing, and water activities like paddle boarding and kayaking. You are also only 30 minutes from Wilmington and the downtown Cape Fear riverfront area, which offers a wide variety of restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing.
Our condo is also right next to the rare coquina rocks along the shoreline, which you can see well during low tide. These mounds of seashell and limestone form tiny pools and puddles of water and are home to all kinds of interesting sea life. They are the only naturally occurring rocky formation in North Carolina and are a fascinating and rare natural wonder. They are also slippery, so be careful!
There are plenty of activities in the off-season as well, like the Cape Fear Kite Festival, Christmas by the Sea, and the Island of Lights Festival.
This is an ideal vacation spot any time of year, so we know you’ll enjoy your stay in this slice of oceanfront paradise!

Great location across from recc center. Easy access to beach. Short drive to restaurants. Carpet was a tad gross, but its a beach house.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! I’m an avid walker and so enjoyed the walkway down to Fort Fisher & beyond the rocks! The condo was just right for me - I like to stay in and just enjoy the ocean - which is right at your feet when you are on the deck! Did get out to the Carolina Beach Boardwalk - quite entertaining!. I would definitely recommend this condo - even for 4-5 people!! Host was incredible - responsive & kind! Fabulous weather too!
