Our short stay at Bartinney was perfect! I was looking for a place to rest and relax after our 24hrs of travel from the US before setting off on safari. Stellenbosch and Bartinney hit the spot! It was so relaxing and peaceful! We enjoyed our wine tastings and so many other vineyards a short drive away to spend the day. The staff were all wonderful and they made sure to check in multiple times on how our stay was going and ask if we needed anything. The house was charming and had the perfect patio for morning coffees and evening wines. We would definitely be back to another visit if we find ourselves travelling back this way! We traveled with kids and grandparents. Everyone enjoyed their stay!
No complaints other than maybe would be nice to have a restaurant on site for meals. But, we got groceries to prepare meals and ate out. So, not a deal breaker by any means!

Big room, very comfortable and clean. We stayed two nights and really loved it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Bartinney has also the best view in my opinion.

The team war very friendly and supportive. The view from the wine tasting shed is fantastic
There is some maintenance required to get the cottage up to a proper level. The pictures on booking are outdated. The view from the terrace is hidden by trees.
