Nice breakfast. Beautiful views all around. Breakfast was nice! Very good food in their restaurant.
The only place we stayed during our 4 week roundtrip where the staff was not very welcoming or accomodating. The location is quite far from the center. You can take an Uber for dining out.

All good, no complaints

Location is super nice!
The price is high for what you het. It looks really Nice on the picture, but in real it’s all very old, bathrooms are with a lot of molt and the water from the shower runs through the rest of the bathroom.
Also furniture is very old, it really needs a good investment.
Besides that: we forgot a jacket in our room. I contacted them, they told me: no.. we haven’t found it. We will phone you if we find it. Never received a call, but we stopped by to double check.. weirdly enough, it was suddenly found?!

Nice pool and wine yards, received a wine tasting voucher at check in.
No shuttle service to tram, reception closed after 5/6pm so no possibility of ordering a taxi, restaurant is closed unless booked in advance so as it’s very remote and you need a car you have no dinner options unless booked in advance. Breakfast is very limited to one option on menu and not buffet.
Staff aren’t that pleasant.
It’s more of a guesthouse than a hotel so we were overall disssapointed with the lack of services. Would not recommend.

Location was beautiful, sat right on the edge of the mountain. The chef here is incredible- we had the small plate and wine pairing- must say one of the best meals we had over our 3 weeks in the garden route.
Compared to other estates/ hotels weve stayed in Zorgvliet felt a bit underwhelming. The finish of the room was less than others weve stayed, making parts like the bathroom or furniture feel outdated. Due to the layout of the estate, workers preparing for a wedding the following day were constantly coming through - making the hotel experience feel quite hectic and possibly more of an after thought - consideration for side access may make it a more calm experience for hotel guests.

Beautiful property which is well laid out
Two key things. there was a fair amount of noice from the road . Staff weren’t as friendly and did not seem as happy as everywhere else we stayed.

It's a beautiful place, with everything: wine tasting, excellent food, delightful staff (thankyou) and great views.
We hope to return.
Only one night, was certainly not enough.

Such a beautiful estate that is surrounded by the most beautiful landscape. The rooms are so spacious and comfy. The activities are endless. The breakfast was divine! The staff so warm, welcoming and helpful!
Nothing - it was absolutely divine!!

This place is magic for nature lovers!i liked walking in the morning looking at the vineyards...just too bad it is winter and couldnt see grapes!the wine was excellent...though am not a connoiseur i can tell good from not good...the breafast lodge was so cosy with a fireplace....the personnel was very courteous. The room is really nice with all ths facilities...
everything was perfect but providing a pair of slippers in the room wd definitely be a plus!

This is a lovely place to stay and great value for money for this area. The location is stunning, at the foot of the mountains and surrounded by vines. We stayed in the three bed cottage which had a lovely private garden with terrace and sunloungers. The accommodation is clean and well appointed although a little tired. Breakfast is good but not amazing and whilst the staff are very friendly, the housekeeping services weren’t the best!

Spacious, comfortable and well laid out.
The pool was a little green and the paving stones and grass area were in need of renovation and maintenance

Beautiful setting, check-in/reception staff were brilliant
The venue in general could benefit from an aesthetic facelift - it is quite dated and doesn't really fit the top tier quality of the buildings, grounds or regions. The breakfast was also a little disappointing - an attempt was there but sadly the execution was not great

A beautiful country setting
Being upstairs of the reception area was disappointing.

Beautiful accommodation and property. I had a lovely stay and would recommend the place (and I’ve stayed in many places close by). Really good value for money - you don’t need to book something more pricey in this area - this place is really lovely.
It was pouring with rain and there was absolutely no help to get to my car without getting drenched (and the walk was not sheltered. I also found the receptionist tactless after she asked what I had out of the mini bar (which I told her), she said “wait for us to go check the mini bar.” She repeated herself with the statement, a statement I’ve never heard before at any hotel.
It’s a pity these “little” things make such an impression but think they could easily be turned around with some basic customer service training.

The view at the venue was absolutely stunning. We also loved the old-style buildings, gardens and the overall vibe of the estate.
There was mould/rust on the walls from the shower - the floors in the room were dirty. The overall value for money wasn't there. It was an expensive stay that didn't really match up, unfortunately.
Breakfast was also a bit disappointing - would have been nice to have more options and even a cappuccino instead of instant coffee.

The venue is adorable. A fantastic view. A lovely wine cellar. The breakfast was fine. But we missed tea bags for two days and the stuff should better write the order down otherwise they forget too much.
A supervisor should check the rooms after cleaning. The room was definitly not clean.

The hotel is located between Stellenbosch & Franschoek and had amazing views on the mountains. The garden and swimming pool are really stunning. The room was very spacious, comfortable bed and big bathroom. Staff was really friendly and did their utmost to make my stay comfortable. There is a very relaxed atmosphere which makes you really able to rest and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
The aircon was slightly outdated and the remote didn’t work. Lunch menu was a bit limited.

The restaurant good and service were very good.
The bathroom shower sealant needs to be stripped out and re-sealed.

The staff were great, went out of their way to help us. Were even able to accommodate our early arrival. As we had a wedding to attend down the road from them. Thank you for going the extra mile.
