Beautiful location surrounded by mountains and wineries. Lovely clean pool including blankets. Great breakfast. Mattress was perfect to sleep on.

Surprise Engagement in the Banhoek valley

The staff were exceptional. Our daughter was getting engaged as a surprise and a special mention to Juanita and Marilee who went the extra mile to make it special for them. Juanita took lots of extra photos and Marilee oversaw the catering for us. All the staff were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for anyone from the restaurant staff to the maids who cleaned the bedrooms daily. Such a lovely memory for our group which we will never forget.

A luxury stay right in the middle of the wine lands

The staff were delightful. Murencia served us wine while we were waiting to check in (every hotel reception take note!) She also did an excellent wine tasting for us and served breakfast another day. All with a smile. Juanita was also very kind, helpful and great fun! The suite was spacious and luxurious.

There is a main road nearby but this did not affect our most enjoyable stay

Staff ignores the guests. Not a place to go.

Beautiful place to stay. Nice view.

Don't have a winte taisting of diner at this place! The staff ignored us voor 2,5 hour. We were not seen, like we didn't exist. Even after we got their attraction, it was difficult to receive our diner. We didn't feel welcome here. The staff defenitely need a hospitality training. Not a place to come back. We never had this bad experience in South Africa. As a response to my feedback: The breakfast was one, we were the only family having breakfast most of the time. I did give a negative feedback while I was checking out, maybe your colleague ignored that again?

There is a very busy road next to the Estate which can be a bit loud at times. Unfortunately we also had some very loud neighbours which was a bit disturbing.

Beautiful and cozy estate

Excellent wine estate with beautiful views from the back garden. Great service and amazing staff . Would highly recommend it . Big rooms where you have everything you need. Feels cozy and like home. Great food and service at the restaurant . This place made my stay in South Africa amazing. I've travelled a lot and rarely felt so welcome as at Le Pommier . Excellent location to visit other estates and spas.

The facilities were very comfortable but the exceptional aspect of our stay were the staff. Every single member of staff we met were delightful; their accommodation to our needs ( lifts to nearby wineries, late check out etc) was the best we’ve ever experienced. Special shout out to Jasmine & Candice.

Outstanding Experience

I adored this place from the moment I entered and until last minute. Especially thank you to people who work on the front desk, such a luxury hospitality kindness. All members of the hotel whom I communicated with took care of me. Even provided a toothpaste in the late evening. I am speechless about the view. The room was outstanding and comfy. The restaurant 😍 wow! It was 1 day, but i will come back to stay longer.

do not stay in the suites in winter! am sure spring and summer are beautiful

the suite was so COLD - the gas fire is obviously there only for looks and NO heat eminates from it - the heating from the aircon was ineffective . the heated towel rail in the bathroom did not work and the floors were 6 degrees!

Great views from the room. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Load shedding was a problem, however there was a generator on the property so power was not off for long. Everytime the generator started and when the power came back on, the room lights would turn on.

Great service that represented South Africa well, very considerate staff, delicious breakfast and incredible views of stunning Stellenbosch vineyards. I will definitely be back. Of all my 50 international flights a year around the world, the stay here at Le Pommier was my favourite. Managers Wayne and Marc were top notch.

Amazing getaway just a stone throw out of Stellenbosch town with so much to do

All the staff go out their way to make you feel right at home. Our suite, the view and breakfast were amazing. Not to mention the wine tasting and the platters to accompany them. The grounds were well looked after with spectacular views all around. There is plenty to do and see in the area. Plenty of hiking too.

Leaving. But make sure to take some cases of wine with you.
