Villa Mariposa exclusive private pool

It was absolutely stunning- the house and the view. There were 5 of us in the house, and there was enough space for us all to feel comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped with just about everything we needed (don't buy any olive oil! I think every guest has left some, including us). Even though it was the beginning of October, the pool was pleasant after a long day exploring. There were one or two minor issues, and they were taken care of quickly. The hosts were gracious and helpful. I loved the location- it felt very private and peaceful, and it was a few minute drive into Budoni, with some good food shops and a large pharmacy. I will definitely stay again if we come back to Sardinia. I also recommend some of the local restaurants. Ristorantino Lu Stazzu was a fun surprise- a very small menu but everything we had was good. It wasn't in English, and Google translate gave us a few odd translations, but delicious. La Mindaredda Agriturismo is very close to the house and was lots of fun. It's only open a couple of days a week and seems to book up fast. Yamaki Sushi - Budoni was very good too. The beach in Budoni was nice, but our favourites were a little bit out of town: Spiaggia di Matta e Peru (just a 16 minute drive from the house) and Spiaggia di San Giovanni (24 minute drive). Lots and lots of historic sites, but the best was Nuraghe San Pietro - Torpè.

Really nothing. If you hire a large car you might find negotiating the driveway a little tricky, but we didn't really have problems.

The swimming pool, the garden, the calm, the view

Beautiful, cozy house. Better than on the pics. Spacious relaxing areas in few silent "corners" of the house and garden. Remote from the road traffic. Quiet in the night. Net protection against mosquitos in every window!

Be aware of many steps to move on the facility. Some guests may find it difficult.
