This spacious lakeside beach and golf house in Laurel Grove speaks for itself. Situated on the 17th hole of the Raven Golf Course, the view is truly spectacular. The golf course is a beautiful backdrop to this lakeside house; always active with birds to watch, fish to catch and turtles to feed. All of this is viewed from the comfort of the huge full wrap around covered deck with gas barbecue for outside grilling. The beautiful morning sunrise is shaded by the fragrant jasmine vines and the wonderful oak trees. The expansive front lawn away from the road is a favorite location for children. The Laurel Grove neighborhood is located in the 2400 acre, World Class, Sandestin Beach and Golf Resort on the Emerald Coast of Florida, renowned for its white sand beaches on the Gulf of Mexico.
Our house interior is 1800 square feet with a golf course and lake view from almost every room. It is beautifully decorated with Brazilian Cherry hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances and granite throughout. Each of the 3 bedrooms have their own full bathroom and TV for relaxation. The Master bedroom with king bed has access to the deck, the guest bedroom with 2 full beds is quietly tucked in the back corner and the upstairs suite with queen bed and lounging couch, has sweeping views across the lake and golf course. The kitchen is fully equiped with all the dishes and cooking utensils necessary for cooking any meal, the laundry is right off the kitchen and the outside beach storage unit is open for guests.
Our Laurel Grove neighborhood includes a lakeside Clubhouse, private to owners and guests and provides a large wonderful pool, adjoining hot tub and gas grills with a full kitchen for poolside dinners. The clubhouse also features a fitness center with flat screened TV's for your daily workout.
The Village of Baytowne Wharf is the 'heart and soul' of Sandestin and the gathering place for everyone. Discover this active pedestrian bayside village and explore the over 40 shops, award winning restaurants, wonderful nightlife and many activites such as Zip-Lining, Climbing Structures, Remote Boats and Mini Golf to name a few. The Marina is a special place for a walk or sunset dinner. The large childrens playground is a favorite place for families eating ice cream cones while children play. Special events such as The Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic, the Artsquest Fine Arts Festival, The Sandestin Wine Festival are held annually along with many weekly and daily events and family activities. I thought the property was great. I have no complaints about the property at all and I felt it was spacious and located in a great area within the resort. The owner was very nice, easy to communicate with and patiently took the time to answer all of my questions.Although there are other pools throughout the resort, we booked this property, because it is right next to a pool with a hot tub, which we could not find anywhere else on the resort. We were bummed that it was closed Monday through Friday of our stay. Also, we weren't aware that it had a closing time of 10pm. My wife and I were relaxing in the hot tub before 10pm and apparently we were still there after 10pm and I guess the motion detectors picked our movement up. Large blinking lights started going off and extremely loud screaming police siren noises started going off around the pool. It seemed a bit overkill and was embarrassing since we were just sitting there, so we hurried to scramble out not knowing what was going on. I assume you're fine if not sitting there after 10pm.None of those things are the owners fault, so the overall experience is a 5 star and we are excited to book the property again.

We had a wonderful stay at Laurel Grove. The unit is super close to the pool and hot tub. The golf carts made everything super accessible. The resort has many restaurants, shops, and things to do for all ages. Debbie is an awesome host. Would recommend staying here!
