A place where I certainly would return to.

Nice and fresh apartment on the ground floor with 2 outdoor terraces. Very close to busstation and a nice supermarket. Only some noise from the main street that leads to the citycentre during the day but no problems at night. Nice and friendly neighbourhood. Very good contact with the owners who were helpful, upon arrival, during my stay and when I left. Certainly a good place to stay when you rely on public transport.

The noise from traffic but I was out a lot doing dagtrips by bus or walked to the citycentre.

Exceptional

Spacious and very clean. The decor was exceptional and really comfortable. The shower was powerful and had instant hot water. I spent a lot of time in the back garden......so calming. Watching the orchids open and close whilst the cats lounged under the shady trees was delightful. The bed was super comfortable.

I didn't like not having a washing machine but it was a short stay, or not having a fly screen on the doors (back and front), as it was nice to have an airflow through the appartment. I did get bitten by mosquitos unfortunately. Oh and be careful with the local cats.... they're not scared to enter if they smell food.

Close to the University of Crete, comfortably furnished, fully functional and very clean.

The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was well-furnished with pots and pans, plates, glasses, cups, etc., a large fridge, a really nice stove/oven, and a good kitchen sink. The host was very accessible and helpful when I had issues finding the parking spot. The outside patios were very nice and surprisingly quiet. TVs in the living room and bedroom and good wifi connection.

The parking space is difficult to access but at least there was parking. The AC/Heater did not function in the bedroom, and the remotes had no batteries, I tried swapping them out with the living room remote but it didn't seem to work. The neighborhood is business, not a lot of good restaurants nearby. The kitchen is well furnished, but if you will cook I suggest bringing salt, pepper, olive oil, etc.

Clean and well-equipped apartment

The apartment is very well equipped. Clean and spacious. The host is very polite and the communication is fast and accurate. The host provides extensive information prior to the check-in, which was appreciated. The location is good-close to the tourist area, but away from all the crowds. Big supermarket just across the apartment. Overall we had a very good experience.

Young drivers should be careful when parking in the private parking spot, since it is a little tight.

Nice place for a short stay.

We stayed one night in Rethymno and it served the purpose for us. There is a dedicated parking which a plus. The apartment was cozy and a convenient 20 min walk away from apartment. A supermarket is nearby. The hosts were responsive and provided details for check-in in advance that helped in smooth check-in.

Great place

The apartment was immaculate and nicely decorated. It consisted of a double bedroom, sofabed in living room/kitchen, bathroom and 2 outside sitting areas. It is a 5 minute walk from the bus station, 10 minutes from old town. Super value for money. Highly recommend.

Very loud toilet, very loud sounds from the street. The sofa and bed are old and broken. So during the night we permanently rolls to the centre of the bed. The towels are also was to old and rough. So if you want to sleep well in this apartment you can’t do that because of the sounds and old beds…

We just spent one night in This lovely place, The house has all you need. The place was clean plus The owner sent us all The info were to park our car. It’s The Perfect spot because in less than 10 min by walk your in The center of Retimno and you can Park your car away from the thug streets of The town. Thanks again!

Very comfortable, clean, well-maintained rooms. Definitely would book again this place.

Did have full kitchen facilities. Very roomy living room and good AC. The neighborhood was quiet and very close to good restaurants - about 1 kilometer distance. The lady owner was very gracious about providing information and you can see she took good care of the apartment.

Needed time to look for parking space. Not too many available around.
